Worst customer service ever!
BEYOND PISSED, Would give zero if I could! I never even got that chance to stay here as my plans changed however I cancelled months before I was suppose to stay and when the day came they then charged me a nights stay ($264) as they said we were “no show” I disputed it with my bank and got a credit back but today it got taken back out because they accused us of lying. STAY FAR AWAY. I plan on going back to Hawaii soon but will NEVER consider this place again.

Outstanding
There is to much to reference. But you will not be disappointed. The ambiance and staff are amazing. Clean and beautiful hotel. I advise watching some reviews on you tube and even then it dosnt do the hotel justice. If you don't get a vehicle from the airport the hotel has a rental car place in it incase you want to take some far out excursions.

Alohilani experience not great
Not great experience , unpleasant interaction with staff as a result of poor maintenance in room and noisy floor. On simple example of many many issues, was, despite being a resort, with substantial resort fee, most days had no towels (min expectation). Advertising does not match the actual experience. I would not attend the hotel in the future.

Dissappointing
Overall not a good stay and definitely doesn't uphold to a 5start resort rating. Furniture and carpets were stained, bathroom was extremely small, outdated and dirty, quality of products(shared pumpable soap, tissues or lowest quality cheap toilet paper) no other personal hygiene products like q-tips cotton rounds or usual hotel stuff. No slippers either. Bedding was not cleaned either, found stains on pillows and sand in bed upon arrival(and we had to wait 3 &half hours to check in as the room was not ready) Noise level was extremely high, no noise cancellation through balcony or walls(mind you i stayed at their highest level, most expensive room with ocean front view) storage room door next to our room was constantly slammed by my employees so it was just adding to the overall noise( and I do understand that shared spaces and resorts have an overall "noise" level and im not sensitive to that at all but this was beyond that) Resort credit we received as booking through amex ( as this is one of their luxury hotel collection partner ) Could not be really used as their room service option was down and the restaurant downstairs does not accept hotel credits or putting charges to the room. Lobby is nice but that's pretty much where it stops. Rest of hotel is very worn down and definitely not something you would expect from 5 star hotel. Would I recommend it to my friends and family? No, not at all.

The stay could have been better
Valet was nice and cooperative. The view was marvelous. But cleanness is becoming an issue. The toilet (washlet) was always smelly. Molds were found on the inner edges of the basin and on the holes of the head shower. Duvets had many stains. Although they take high resort fees, they ran out of paper cups and asked me to buy at ABC store which is unbelievable for a big hotel. They also ran out of small towels one day. I think quality assurance and management need reconsideration. This is my fourth time at Alohilani and I could feel and see the decline in the quality.
