Mar 23, 2025Good spot for kids
Great spot right in the middle of everything, can walk anywhere. Pools for all ages, the lazy river isn’t heated but the other pools are warm. A lady was doing braids and hair wraps by the pool, you can get food and drinks at the tiki bar by the pools, can walk right to the beach, security Is on grounds, lobby smells good and staff is friendly. Great for kids and a family. Would recommend

The room was nice the staff nice. The drawbacks are that the pools are not heated even though they say they are. The refrigerator does not freeze ice cream and the ice maker in the frig does not work. The thermostat does not work either . There is a governor on the frig and the thermostat. This would be very nice if the pools were heated. This is VERY Family oriented. Many many children in all pool areas. The chairs at the pool are always claimed even though no one is using them. I would not come again

Great resort, and location!
We stayed during Daytona bike week (2025), and it was awesome. 2 Bedroom, ocean view, clean and very spacious. Friendly staff, great amenities, and quiet (even during Bike week!). Best part, walking distance to main street. Will be back next year, same time.

Mar 15, 2025Ocean side family stay
Came for 2 night stop on family vacation. We had a 3 bedroom condo with oceanfront view. It was lovely. Fantastic location, clean, staff were very friendly and nice. Pools and patio were very nice and clean. The private beach area was great. Two things to know: first, the check in process was terrible and slow. You have to go to a second location to get wristbands and they sign you up to do a tour and want you to purchase into the vacation club. I was repeatedly called and texted to come to this meeting. Two, it was the beginning of spring break when we were here so another time might be better, but the group of boys next door to us were doing drugs (not just weed) on the balcony we shared with a divider, which was a surprise in a nice place like this. The good outweighed those things and I’d stay in this hotel again.

Mar 11, 2025Don’t expect to call Wyndham Oceanwalk and reach anybody or text them (w/number that they provide when you call there)
Called Wyndham Oceanwalk and the phone keeps ringing after an initial message that tells you to text them for prompt service and immediate response. They don’t pick up, and no one responds to your texts (7 over 2 days). God forbid there’s an emergency and you need to reach someone. So I tried to call corporate and all they do is send it back to win the motion work number and I’m back on the treadmill going nowhere. It’s unbelievable that this is happening. It’s a nice place, convenient to everything, but God forbid, as I said, you need to reach someone there in an emergency or just want to reach someone and ask a question like I did. Multiple phone calls to corporate, multiple phone numbers, and I keep getting the runaround. I kept asking for someone in charge of a supervisor or a manager, and nope they weren’t gonna provide it. I kept getting the same runaround and they kept sending me back to Oceanwalk and I’m back on the treadmill every time. Going nowhere. Wyndham if you’re reading this, you need to fix that problem. That could be a significant liability. Issue of someone needs to reach someone there in an emergency. Here’s the number, try it yourself 336-323-4800. Unbelievable situation that no one can fix because you can’t reach anybody that gives a crap.
