As an RCI exchange member
The Location was beautiful, it is located in the east end which is still relatively undeveloped and the natural beauty of the Island is still present, The Resort has some very nice accommodations, But as an RCI exchange member visiting a Wyndham we were given the most worn out unit available in the complex, rusty appliances, broken floor tile, no screens on the door to keep the chickens out, we actually were forced to move when the AC unit quit even though we were willing to remain where we were instead of packing up and moving to another unit with only two day's remaining in our vacation. It's important to point out that the staff was very nice, and tried there hardest to fix things and even offered to pack us up and move us. Management not so much, they were less than forthcoming on why we were forced to move and less than generous in offering any compensation for any inconvenience, the "over and above" fee's mentioned as possible when booking are actual, and added another $500.+ that we were charged as RCI members. This was our 4th visit to Grand Cayman.this beautiful Island is being loved to death, 7 mile beach could be renamed to 7 mile Hotel, it is also a very expensive destination. Beauty truly comes at a cost at this location.

Will definitely return .
Wonderful vacation at the Wyndham resort. We stayed for one week with an oceanfront suite. We did not go all inclusive but ate breakfast every morning at the Tides restaurant on site. Excellent service special shout out to Ruel and Maricel. Dinner at the outdoor bar or appetizers at happy hour was affordable and delicious. Tony and Alexander took Excellent care of us. Also, staff at the front desk and excursions were also helpful. Would definitely come again and really was appreciative of such a friendly staff. P.S. try the Zucca restaurant and feed the birds at 5. And the Italian restaurant next to the grocery store nearby is Excellent. Love Louise and Stanley

A gem
I was very impressed with everything about the resort including cleanliness of grounds, friendliness of staffing, room location with an amazing view and size of the unit. We knew from other reviews that this side of the island was quiet and more of an older crowd so we made plans to stay at both sides ɗuring our trip. It was VERY quiet this week but after going to the other side we realized what a gem the Reef was even with the quiet. Overall we truly enjoyed the stay and the staff's commitment to remembering our names, and offering up the occasional rum punch just because. Highly recommend.

Best Vacation Ever!!
We have been to a lot of resorts, and this is one of the best. The resort and unit were immaculate. The staff was attentive and helpful. Every unit has an ocean view, and the 1 bedroom unit's kitchen was fully stocked with glassware, plates, utensils and cookware. The beach is manicured daily, and the pools and hot tubs were properly maintained. We also enjoyed the spa and workout facility. Both were also well maintained. We have our new home away from home and can't wait to go back!!

Fantastic relaxing trip
Recently spent a week here doing the premium all inclusive. Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly. Every member of the Wyndham staff went over and above for us. RUEL was incredibly helpful with tips on what to see, when to go, and best of all..what to eat and drink!! DAVID found my cousin a drink she loved ( pina colada with Amaretto only) took some work but he found it!! We are grateful to have met both of them. We didn't go to Subway.Everything on the menu at the TIDES and the Beach Bar was fresh and very flavorful. We did the breastfast buffet as it was included.. fresh made omelets were great however, some of the ready made heated items were stone cold on a few days, The tenderloin at dinner was amazing as was everything we ordered from the menu. Not a fan of any of the evening buffets we did and to be fair we didn't do the Taco or Seafood because we were off site. We were on the first floor and could walk directly into a pool from the door. It was amazing. The grounds are beautiful. This is not a flat beach and the water is pretty rocky but still so much fun. The rooms need some updating but we really didn't care about that. The woman working at Ocean Frontiers the Thursday we were there was absolutely miserable. She honesty but a damper on the day after the way she very close to yelled "your doing it wrong if that happens"many times. Followed by" just scan the code' she was very short with her temper and her answers. When a genltman opened the door to ask what time she'd be back from lunch, her answer was very short and definitely not sweet. 12:30!!!! We went to relax and unwind on the non touristy side of the island and it was perfect.
