    Exceeded our expectations!

    Our family of four stayed for our first time last week. Most everything exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a fantastic beach view from our balcony, the food and drinks were amazing and getting chairs and an umbrella at the beach was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back in the future!

    Great stay!

    We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham. The pools and beach were very well maintained, and the resort did an excellent job managing the seagrass. The staff provided exceptional service, arranging beach chairs, umbrellas, and tables so guests didn't have to rush to reserve seating early in the morning. The food and drinks were also great! There were lots of gluten free and vegetarian options onsite. We really enjoyed Roots! We got a lot of bug bites from the sand flies on the beach. I would definitely suggest bringing bug spray. Despite initial concerns about room quality based on other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and overall condition of our accommodations. The room got to be humid at points and did have a mildew smell. Housekeeping was speedy and had our room cleaned everyday before 11. This is our second trip we booked through Costco and really enjoyed it. The shuttle to and from the airport was extremely convenient and helped us save money on rental car fees. Recommendations - Spend your morning at El Yunque - get there early to beat the crowds - Do a guided tour at the Bio Bay in Fajardo - bring plenty of bug spray with deet. Consider wearing long sleeves to avoid bug bites. - Rent a car onsite. Enterprise was a fourth of the price compared to rentals from the airport. Millie was awesome! - Get groceries and drinks at Walmart or Family Coop to save money . - Eat at the kiosks in Luquillo - we enjoyed Edelweiss Bar and Grill #38 - Try Ricopan Bakery for breakfast and coffee.

    Hallway smells like pee

    hallways smells like dog pee , Automatic no late checkout eventhough rooms are available in website, food is salty . 0 benefit from bwing a platinum member. hotel is nicely decorated and is good for pictures

    Family vacation

    Rooms are not clean and they will not compensate you

    I must express my profound disappointment with the accommodations and service provided during our stay. Our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and it is with great reluctance that I am compelled to document the litany of issues we have encountered. Our party of four arrived on February 13, 2024, at approximately 11 PM, eager to begin our stay in rooms 5050 and 5082, both designated as ocean-view rooms. We specifically requested these rooms to be close to the elevators due to the presence of elderly individuals within our group. Regrettably, despite our request, we were informed that room availability prevented us from being accommodated accordingly. Upon entering room 5050, we were greeted by an overwhelming stench of bleach, so potent that it triggered a headache for my pregnant roommate, despite her efforts to mitigate the odor with a mask. Additionally, the door's deadbolt was malfunctioning, compromising our security and peace of mind throughout the night. Despite our immediate report to the front desk, the initial response was lackluster. Subsequent room changes only exacerbated our ordeal. In room 7078, we endured a malfunctioning air conditioner that persisted for two full days, subjecting us to uncomfortably low temperatures despite our attempts to adjust the settings. During my stay in room 7078, the water unexpectedly shut off while I was taking a shower. Despite promptly notifying the staff, they only acknowledged the issue without providing any updates on its resolution or offering an apology. The climax of our distress occurred on February 17 when both rooms 7078 and 7082 became infested with roaches, an utterly unacceptable and unsanitary condition for any accommodation. Despite repeated notifications to the front desk and engineering, the response was grossly inadequate. Even after fumigation attempts, the presence of roaches persisted, leaving us with no option but to vacate the rooms for our own health. The subsequent relocation to room 2009, which did not meet our initial booking specifications (rainforest view), further compounded our dissatisfaction. After fumigation and deep cleaning both rooms, roaches were still being spotted. Throughout this ordeal, the compensation offered by your staff has been woefully insufficient. A mere $200 credit for our inconvenience does not begin to address the extent of our distress and inconvenience.
