Disney Springs Hotel
We loved our stay at Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista while visiting Disney. The hotel is across the street from Disney springs where there are many restaurants and shopping and some entertainment. We went to the Irish pub for fish and chips and watched a show with Irish dancers and singers. We also went to see a fabulous show in Disney Springs called "Drawn to Life" by Cirque du Soleil. We spent three days at the Disney theme parks and booked the transportation ahead of time to the parks. The buses were on time and an effective way to travel there and back. The hotel room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was so nice to come back to after a day at the parks and we enjoyed swimming. We also were able to have a bite to eat at the hotel bar and or pool. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel has a cafe for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches ready in no time and this great to have on the way to the parks. The gardens around the hotel are beautiful and well maintained. The staff were helpful and kind and really welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Awful skip this hotel
I had high hopes for this hotel, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment from start to finish. The room felt more like a dated roadside motel than a proper hotel — thin walls, loud hallway noise, and an overall lack of comfort or cleanliness. The biggest issue? Bugs in the shower. Yes, actual bugs crawling around when I tried to take a shower. That alone should be a dealbreaker for anyone. The bed was uncomfortable, the lighting was harsh, and the general atmosphere of the room felt sterile and uninviting. I didn’t feel relaxed or rested at all during my stay. Staff was polite but clearly overwhelmed or indifferent, and no one seemed particularly surprised when I brought up the issues. Honestly, for the price point, I expected much more. Just $50 more would’ve put me at the Hilton down the street — and after this experience, I sincerely wish I had gone that route instead. The peace of mind, cleanliness, and quality would’ve been worth every penny. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. There are far better options nearby that won’t leave you feeling like you need to shower after your shower. Would not recommend.

A Good Neighbor
A decent alternative for those not wishing to stay at the themed WDW resorts. With this being a Disney “Good neighbor” property, you’re entitled to early park entry and linking your booking to DW app. Unfortunately you cannot check-in with the app and or unlock your door with your phone or Magic+ band so expect going old school with a stop at the service desk. Mears Connect does offer service to from MCO and Fabulous Buses handles transfers to and from the parks. You will be given a voucher during check-in to reserve your park buses. If you want a classic motel experience chose the Gardens and the Tower for a more upscale stay, which I look forward to trying my next visit. I will say that the staff was very friendly and helpful and I liked having the option to communicate with staff via text. Disney springs is about an 8 minute walk and a Winn-Dixie just under 2 mi if you need groceries. There’s a few restaurants on site, a Jofferey’s and a small selection of pricey snacks and drinks. This was the first time in a quite awhile where I found that my room was not lit nor cooled so I’m not sure if that’s policy here or? Which that I’ll get into some more Cons: Resort fees, noisy air unit, loose bathroom fixtures, small tub/toilet space as the door almost scrapes the toilet when closing and the shower will barely accommodate anyone over 6’5, limited TV channels (35) but 3 of which are HBO, Events & Disney information section were not working on the TV Home Screen nor was the weather (date and time), gaps in my entry door (sides and bottom, see photo), ventilation not working in bathroom, Wyndham hustlers in the lobby so watch out for those “Special Events” 😉 Pros: Quick walk to the Springs, transport to parks, Mears Connect, Early park entry, comfy bed, decent toiletries (some locked down), plenty of cubbies and drawers, mini fridge, coffee maker, safe, decent TV, plenty of standard charging ports (8) and outlets (18). In conclusion I had a decent stay and could easily recommend this resort for your next visit.

Average
The hotel was definitely family friendly which was what I needed, clean lobby, friendly help desk staff. The pool was a big hit for my son who thoroughly enjoyed the space he had to play and location was great! However I rate the experience 7/10 overall because of the following: The room smelled like a hospital, if you're catering for people with kids, the outer hallways need better lighting (it felt like the twilight zone walking to my room from the elevator). Also, if you're catering for families I don't think it's too much to upgrade rooms with microwaves. Having to go all the way to the public lobby to get my child a warm feed was inconvenient. And lastly, even though we enjoyed the pool, it needed cleaning from after a rainy windy night and the palm tree shed whatever the little worm looking things were into the pool. We went to the pool late afternoon so there was ample time for staff to get to it and it was off peak so it wasn't that crowded. I would stay here again primarily because of the location.

Room cleanliness wasn’t great
Unhappy with overall cleanliness of the room. Towels were dirty. Since we were only staying two nights, we decided to wait to shower until we got home. The shower head had buildup on it and the bathroom wasn’t clean either. I’d rather spend a couple extra hundred dollars to stay on Disney property rather than staying here again.
