    A Safe and Enjoyable Stay

Recently stayed on property at the Beachcomber in the middle of the COVID19 Pandemic and was very impressed with the hotel and its staff. Their commitment to keeping guests safe during this global pandemic was apparent with the safety protocols they set up and their commitment to keeping the area clean and safe for visitors. Recently renovated, the rooms and hotel amenities still have that "new car" smell and feel with exceptional attention to detail in its decor creating a modern yet traditional vibe. The stunning views from the balcony are perfect for taking in a Hawaiian sunset and also provides a perfect set up for working remotely with a killer view. The Beachcomber's location on the '50 yard' line in Waikiki makes it the perfect location for exploring the most iconic stretch of beach and travel spot in Hawaii... everything is within walking distance. However, you really don't need to venture too much with Maui Brewing Co and Hawaiian Aroma cafe located on the property offering great options for food and drinks! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island or for locals residents like myself looking for a weekend getaway.

Fabulous hotel steps away from beach

We celebrated Christmas and new year’s in Oahu and picked this place to stay for a week. The hotel is brand new renovated. The staff is amazing. Our check in was very smooth and the lady provided us with pair of house slippers and map. The valet parking albeit expensive, is very nice too. The boys at the parking are so helpful and am glad we did not have to hunt for parking in busy Waikiki. We had a ocean view room. The view was bit restricted with the tall buildings but we still had a good view. Our bed however was not facing the ocean. There are some rooms we noticed where the bed faces the ocean as well. Housekeeping is being done when requested. We did not opt for it during our stay, However, they are very generous with products. So we never felt like we needed anything. The covid precautions are being taken. There are sanitizers provided throughout property and we saw staff sanitizing common areas (lift, escalator) regularly. The pool is also being access controlled and you will need to book to use. The cafe below and Maui brewing company are great for all meals.

    Excellent location, rooms, and staff

The location is right in the middle of Waikiki strip. Short walking distance from the beach. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Not to mention the view. But the real highlight here is the hospitality of the staff. From the bellhops, valet attendants, housekeeping, to the front desk receptionists. Daniel, Sam, Kristina, and Kiana at the front desk are some of the most accommodating and friendly personnel that we’ve ever encountered. Whether your are a first timer or a frequent visitor of Waikiki, this is definitely a hotel to consider.

    Clifford and Iris Honjiyo

We made reservations through Christina at the front desk of the Outrigger Beachcomber Hotel and she was so courteous, kind and helpful to us. My wife, Iris, is going through a serious vertigo problem and needed safety bars in the bathtub area so Christina went out of her way to not only find a room that was ADA suitable but one that even was an upgrade to an oceanview room. Whenever we asked for help, she was there and did an excellent job. I think that she would be a good candidate for a future managerial position.

Incredible location, amazing staff, beautiful views

I stayed at the Outrigger Beachcomber for a week with my girlfriend and everything was a 10/10. The staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were gorgeous (with balconies and views of the ocean), and there was a super casual restaurant/bar in the hotel lobby with local bands every night. It was truly special! The vibe was unreal. In addition to the hotel itself, the location was phenomenal. Every good restaurant is within a 5-minute walk, and the beautiful Waikiki beach is a 5-minute walk as well. This hotel is the BEST, and I will stay there on every future trip to Hawaii. THANK YOU!!!! Ps. The picture is from my 6:30am walk on the beach in Waikiki that I did every morning.
