    An enjoyable pleasant stay

    An Enjoyable Visit to this hotel in NYC this April. Excellent location right in the centre of all the action of Times Square and Broadway. Near to all the restaurants and shops, including subway for exploring the rest of the city. Loved the feel of the hotel and its bar. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was modern and had all the amenities I would expect. The only thing I would say is that I was not a fan of the glassy opaque bathroom doors in the room, All in all would recommend as a place to stay.

    A very central location

    A great location just off Time Square. Despite being right next to Time Square, thanks to black out blinds and being quite high up (we were on 29th floor) this did not disturb our sleep. This is our second time staying here. One slight problem is that breakfast is served in a Mexican restaurant on the ground floor, where the food and service was not so good, and so this time we just had breakfast out at other places.

    Great location with the sights and sounds of Time Square

    The perfect location if you are looking to be in the center of one of the main tourist spots in NYC. It’s a good location with a lovely staff and a fantastic lounge/bar. The rooms are clean and nice but being in Time Square comes with the price of proximity to the noise and excitement of Time Square… overall a nice stay and a good location for central travel in the city.

    Double-booked our room, nothing special for the price.

    I stayed here with my dad in December. Firstly, when we arrived we spent an hour in reception as they had double booked our room, despite us arriving early. They had to find an alternate room for us to stay in and the staff seemed in no rush to resolve this and were not remotely apologetic, instead ushering us away from the desk to check in other guests. The actual room was clean enough and had a pretty good view of times square, but was nothing special. The hotel also demanded we paid an additional £30 per day we stayed which we could apparently claim back at the bar, despite both being non-drinkers. If I were to go again, I would stay elsewhere, particularly for the price.

    Perfect Locations, View and Friendly, Professional Staff

    We enjoyed our recent stay at the W New York -Times Square. The location was in perfect proximity to Times Square. We went to see 2 plays and 3 museums and everything we went to was within 10-20 minutes either walking or using the subway. When we checked in we were told that the highest floor for a king bed was the 24th floor but that they had a room with 2 queens on the 56th floor. We took the 56th floor and very happy we did. View was spectacular! Our room was clean and comfortable. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion etc was provided. Hotel staff from the front entrance, reception, concierge, lounge and room service was friendly and professional. The bank of elevators provided pretty speedy access to our rooms since floors were separated to provide express service. We ordered room service each day for coffee and got the large pot each day for $13. Two bottles of water were provided free each day which was very nice. We went to the hotel bar few times, drinks were expensive, but the staff was so friendly that we kept coming back. We will definitely consider this hotel in the future.
