We have been to this hotel since 2008 ,we have watched over its growth and changes through the years and every time I’m truly grateful for our time in this beautiful property. All the staff are the heartbeat of the hotel , from the Prive staff (Tanya, Mariela , Joselo and Oscar , to the pool concierge Abner, Manuel and Marco. Absolutely adore DORA she represents the property with her lovely smile and graceful presence to all the guests . The staff of Lamarche who definitely made our breakfast special were the two hostesses Hilcia and her partner, waiter was Isaac his smiling face always made our day . Edgar is always checking on special details happening there truly an asset to the hotel,All the servers were always willing to help out and even Miquel a top manager and Arely are willing to help out. The Pastry chef spoiled me for my birthday week gracias , and Martin a chef also took time to treat my husband and I to special ordered food so delicious. The Ginger restaurant we had Bernardino Manager and William our Sushi Chef just wow the creations from him were so tasty and beautiful to look at. Our waiter was Jesus and he was outstanding and has such a calm manner which made our dinners relaxing and enjoying our food . La Hacienda Mexican restaurant we had Gabriela Manager and she assisted me to have Chimichurri sauce with my dinner,truly appreciated.Yonathon was our waiter . Sisal has Lizette and the boys making our coffee nightly, thanks so much . Jose Luis is one of the Managers that we have known since we have been coming here such a lovely man . At Tamasari we had a great waitress Diana 🙂 At the pool we had Virginia she is a lady who gives you such special treatment and knows her drinks 🍹 The housekeeping staff were ultimately the best day cleaning and turndown and for my birthday I had special towels animals that were amazing! I have missed so many staff as I find everyone from the bellman to the gardeners as the reason we will continue to return over and over again . We adore you all! See you in September ! Apr 23, 2025Beautiful resort, great food, but not my fav
The location is nice. The staff were friendly, none that stand out like the last resort I went to. The food has been better than other resorts we have been at. Scenery was beautiful, lots of wildlife. The room was great. However, the smoke detector light right above the bed was very annoying. I will say activities during the day was wonderful. But I feel the nightly entertainment was not the best I have seen recently. Would I come again, maybe but not multiple years in a row.

Amazing place
Everything about this place I loved the food the location the entertainment the beach the pools but what makes this place make you feel welcomed is the staff. The staff take care of you 110% they are great. I loved everyone and everything about this place. When they say you get what you pay for it’s an understanding here they bend over backwards to make sure your stay is a priority and a great stay! Love this place can’t wait to go back!

I'd go again.
- Beautiful grounds that are well-maintained; it's nice to just walk around. - Nice room. No major complaints. - Very good service and staff. - Great drinks. - Just ok food, but I'm sure we'll still be back!

VIM 2025
We’ve recently returned as a couple from our 6 night stay at the VIM. We originally booked a Golden Superior room (top floor) but were upgraded to an Emerald suite ocean view for the 1st night with the option to keep that room for the week, due to Golden room being unavailable upon our arrival. I was hesitant about a ground floor room due to a poor experience at previous resort, but we were pleasantly surprised, and glad we decided to keep the room for that week. The grounds were beautiful, and very well maintained. The staff accommodating and friendly, and the food delicious. Special shoutout to Abelardo at the main pool Earth bar, and the GO team. We will definitely return, and would highly recommend to others, keeping in mind that there is construction going on near the beach to those that are beach people.
