    HONEYMOONERS

We stayed here in May for our Honeymoon and loved the hotel! Our room was cleaned every day and was left spotless. I honestly can't fault the cleanliness of anywhere in this hotel. Bed was really comfy, we slept amazing for the full 2 weeks. Pool area was amazing, spotlessly clean again. And wow, we have never seen so many lifeguards before. They were brilliant, so on the ball with any potential emergencies. We chose this hotel specifically as it had a really nice chill atmosphere and it helped us relax after we had had long tiring days in the park. It was nice to escape to this almost 'Caribbean' retreat! The coffee shop in reception is amazing for small bites to eat and we stopped here every morning for our breakfast before heading off to the parks. We also had pizza/macaroni cheese/cakes etc from here and they were delicious. Perfect for if you were feeling snacky but didn't require a full meal, prices were great too! My biggest recommendation would be to purchase one of the hotel re-fillable cups from here. Ours cost us just under $20 for the entire duration of our stay and these can be filled up for free as many times as you want (think there is a limit of 10 minutes between each re-fill). We could fill these with juice, water, fizzy pop at re-fill stations around the hotel. Worth every penny! We ate at Dhrum Kantine down at the poolside too multiple times during our stay. The food here was expensive however 100% worth it for us, we thought it was amazing. We were on our Honeymoon so happy to pay the bit extra but can imagine it costing a fortune for larger groups/families. We used the boat over to Citywalk rather than the bus/walking and found it worked really well. It was a really nice, scenic way of arriving into Citywalk and felt really relaxing after a long day in the parks. We used Uber to get us to Disney, on average I would say it cost about $20 per way and this was something we budgeted for in advance. I think there may be a cheaper way of getting to Disney but this worked for us! The only reason I have marked this down to 4/5 is we did have a bit of an issue when it came to checking out. They sent us a bill with a small charge on for the phone that we used in the room, this was only just over $1 so was happy paying. I was advised once I was checked out, it would just come off the card that we added to our account on check in. Everything was fine, we checked out, left and flew home. Upon arriving back into the UK, I checked my emails to see that they had sent me a 'revised' invoice of charges and they were now charging me for some sort of 'room service' at just over $18. We did not receive any form of room service so there was no reason this should have been added to our bill. In their defence, they dealt with this incredibly quick and refunded but it just seemed sneaky. It could be innocent but I would just advise people to keep an eye on their bills when they come through at check in. Just seemed like a bit of a coincidence that the new bill came through when we were on the plane home and by the time we landed the money had been taken and had to be refunded? Hmm. Anyway, overall we LOVED this hotel and this would absolutely not put us off from returning. Everything about this worked really well for us and we had an amazing Honeymoon. I would come back and would recommend :) Thanks Sapphire Falls :)

Great short trip to Universal Studios and Citiwalk

The resort was clean and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. It was overall a great trip. We would have chosen another of the Loews resorts if we had realized that Fast pass was not included with this one, but my daughter and her friends didn't have to wait too long for any of the rides.

    Worth Every Penny

I’m going to be real, we don’t have a lot of money, but we maxed out our credit card anyway so we can finally stay at Sapphire Falls! We are 100% satisfied with our financial decision. The moment you step onto the front walkway you’re greeted by Caribbean music and feel like you’ve just arrived to an actual Caribbean resort. The atmosphere is relaxing yet grand. I loved the Edison lights and stonework everywhere. Make sure you go checkout the waterfalls for a nice little romantic view at night. Check in was super easy with smiley and informative “Roxy” behind the counter. Our room was a double queen with lagoon view as well as quick access to the water taxi which was a major benefit of staying here. Room Service for breakfast was top notch. We talked about our delicious eggs throughout the day! Not to mention the incredible service staff who go above and beyond even if you don’t ask. The beds and sheets were so comfy. Shower was really nice. Housekeeping came every day even though I heard from other reviews that you’re supposed to request that. Strong Water Bar is a must if you like trying different dishes and sampling rum from different countries. Our server Casey was attentive and made us feel special. We practically ordered everything off the menu. Fantastic food! Was the perfect vacation date night we were looking for. The pool was incredible. David our pool server was so on top of things, even finding us in the pool to bring our drinks! We were so sad to leave this amazing hotel.
