Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Room taxes are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.
A minimum self-parking fee of $20 per room, per day, per vehicle will be charged and collected by the hotel at time of service, at check-in or check-out.
A valet parking fee of $27 per room, per day, per vehicle will be charged and collected by the hotel at time of service, at check-in or check-out should a guest choose to valet.

Pet Stay Policy:
Up to 2 pets per room are allowed.

Around 11:45 pm, as we tried to settle in for the night, we realized the beds did not have fitted sheets; only a loose/top sheet as “the bottom”. It was not tucked or secured under the mattress. The mattress pad was exposed. We could not sleep on a mattress pad or a loose sheet that would bunch/bulk throughout the night. One of our children has ADHD with severe sensory issues. There was no way he could/would sleep without a secured, smooth surface underneath him. When I went to the front desk about it, the manager immediately responded with an ignorant and offensive, condescending demeanor. He stated how shocked he was I was asking for such a “luxury” because, apparently, the past 2 hotel companies he worked for didn’t offer fitted sheets either and I was the first guest to ask for such a thing. In fact, he said I should’ve made that “amenity” known ahead of time so they would have adequate time to prepare the room. That was simple absurdity. We are a retired military family with over 20+ years as active duty and, in all of our travels, we never had to request fitted sheets ahead of time. He proceeded to quote me his professional credentials and, because he’s a “solution-based” (his words) person, the only way to resolve this was for me to purchase a set of sheets for our beds. He did, however, graciously offer to call various retail stores in the area to see if they were still open for me to drive to. After approximately 10 minutes, he supposedly called other Universal resorts to see if they had fitted sheets he could borrow for us. They didn’t. He returned with, again, saying we could purchase the items for the hotel since we wanted them so badly. I tried to educate him him on ADHD & what sensory issues are. I tried to plea how important these fitted sheets were to us. I tried to strum his heart strings…nothing worked. He was too focused on upping his score card of self-righteousness. We eventually asked what the structure of his personal bed was; he revealed he sleeps with a fitted sheet covering the mattress. Even that revelation didn’t even cause him to pause his game of superiority. The housekeeping director saved the day and the moment. Her solution was the only reason we ended up keeping our reservations at this place.
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, I MEAN THE VERY VERY BEST MANAGERS
I had the pleasure of communicating with two seperate managers that WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR MY FAMILY! On Saturday August 6th and Sunday August 7th I needed and received so much help and support from the manager Andy who spent over 30min on the phone with me and then the manager Bob helped me Sunday! These are two WONDERFUL, GREAT, AND CARING MEN whom I can clearly state there is no way any other hotel will ever ever exceed the kindness they shared with my daughter and me. Great great job Andy and Bob. I will never forget the kindness you showed me!
A combination of great transportation between airport, hotel and parks made this vacation so much more enjoyable! The convenient location of the of the hotel to the park entrances was a plus that we enjoyed more this time compared to a couple other trips where we had to "worry" about commuting back and forth. The fact that the rooms are cleaned every day is much appreciated since many other hotels don´t do so allegedly because of the pandemic. The fact that park tickets were sold at the hotel was also so convenient for us. We are happy to have changed our reservation to this hotel.
Great home base
We had great joy from our stay at the resort. It served a perfect based as it perfectly catered to all our needs. The water taxi provided quick and easy access to the parks. The laundry room made it easy for us to get fresh cleaned clothes throughout our stay. The self park garage was convenient and moderately priced. The kids LOVED the pool. And I felt safe as the lifeguards were constantly on the watch. The adults in our party at the restaurant one evening and had a lovely dinner with good drinks. We used the convenience store as well a couple of times. If I had to knit pick my only complaint is that we didn’t get toiletries replaced for 3 days but that was quickly fixed with a call to the reception. Would gladly return again in the future.
Great time. Brown away by the parks. Food not the best. Very hot in August Definitely would go back and do it again. Can’t wait to come back. Very easy to get around. Took the water taxis back and forth a few times a day. Real easy.
