Get away night
Not a pleasant stay, check in was later than expected/told, room card did not work and had to go back to front desk for new keys…elevator wait times were horrific and were only 2hrs into night Stay at Sapphire Falls, worth extra money
Great value, very convenient location
We really enjoyed staying here and the price point was very affordable. The main plus was the shuttle buses to the parks were very easy to use and quick. We never waiting more than a five minutes before departing and there was always a bus at the hotel and at the parks for return trips. Aventura has a very modern vibe and has really cool area on the roof for drinks and views of the parks. We would for sure stay here again for our next Universal trip.
Not enough staff
Check in process was horrific. There were not enough people working the desk on a Sunday at 4 pm, and we waited an hour to get our keys. The Starbucks staffing was also totally inefficient in the morning. The room was nice and initially clean, but there was a refusal to cleaning during the week. No need to wear masks in the hotel, but can’t clean the room because of COVID?
Aventura is awesome!
Great hotel. Great experience. Futuristic! Loved the total ambience of the place. Loved how the Ipad controls of the room. It is just an overall great fun experience. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay at Aventura.
Clean and Modern
We chose this hotel specifically bc it was a newer hotel and seemed more adult-oriented (we weren't bringing our kids on this trip) - it was great HOWEVER, the bed was not as comfy as I would have hoped. We loved the floor to ceiling panorama windows (we did the King Deluxe upgrade) and not having carpet in the room was a bonus (it feels cleaner, especially coming from and going to the pool). The technology in the room was mostly great - although there was a weird quirk that if you didn't have the light by the door on, the bathroom light wouldn't turn on. I don't know if that was a room feature or just a glitch with our room but either way, it was odd but manageable. We also had a weird TV issue accessing netflix but were able to work around it using some chromecast magic. Overall, it was a great stay.
