Great location and courteous staff
My spouse and I stayed a week here when we vacationed in Las Vegas. Pros: First off, it is right smack in the middle of the strip and you have everything there. There is a Walgreens, McDonalds, White Castle and Denny's across the street. Hotel staff was very polite. Rooms were typical for a hotel in Las Vegas . Liked that my room had a tub and separate shower. Casino was nice and not too crowded. Pool was beautiful and lots of lounge chairs around it. The pool was closed on Monday due to a forecast of poor weather even though it was nice out that day. They did credit us for that day, though. Cons: Major drawback is there is no food court. Most eateries are sit down restaurants. There is a place called snacks which is sort of like fast food but I wasn't crazy about the food there. Other con was that the dolphin habitat is no longer there which I know was a major draw for that hotel. All in all, a quaint hotel with a good location.

Location, location, location
Ah, where do I begin? First, I will comment on the hotel staff which is exceptional. Staff members go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and your trip special! I have stayed at Cosmo and Palazzo where they advertise state of the art service.. frankly both those hotel staff could take tips from the staff at this place! As for the rooms.. definitely not for the faint of heart. Extremely run down and borderline disgusting. Carpet is WORN! Bathrooms have old shower curtain of which God knows how many people have touched and used it. While housekeeping no doubt does their best, i dont think there is any amount of cleaning that can make these rooms feel clean. Bed is lumpy as well and curtains are a pull away from falling off.. .. with that said! The location of this hotel is phenomenal! Walk most places with ease. Since it is a smaller hotel it does not take a lot of time to get to your room from casino floor, also a perk for us. Pool cabana and service is perfect! Highly recommend. Overall, even tho the rooms are a tragedy, service and casino leaves me wanting to come back! Boo hard rock for plans to remove tropical theme.

Feeling VIP in the VIP
We had a great trip! Check in was awesome in the vip lounge, Elysa offered us some refreshments and got us checked in quickly so we could get some rest upstairs. Elysa did a wonderful job with my elderly mother and was able to get us a room near the elevator! We love the central location, makes it easier to get around. Rhumbar was fun and the music was great even when it started to rain we were sipping our drinks and dancing. Overall had a fantastic trip, highly recommend
