My friends and I decided to vacation in Puerto Vallarta and this was definitely the spot. Amazing service especially from the activities crew and concierge. There was an aggressive couple and they handled the situation perfectly. Involved security immediately and escorted our group to our rooms for safety. Overall an amazing experience at this resort.
I went last week and stayed at the Sunscape Resort with my mother and son and had a great time. We stayed in a beautiful suite on the 12th floor with an amazing view. Food was delicious and very good service, specially from Isai from the Italian Restaurant. Thank you very much for your great hospitality Sunscape Resort!
All inclusive Hotel, need more
Hello, well family grabs the bags and flew to Puerto Vallarta (old Vallarta) in Jalisco Mexico, the arrival was on time, getting the keys was a little long like a 45 minutes we were 18 people. after arriving to the room was big, a king bed and also a sofa and single beds next to the window. the hotel restaurants were ok, menu mostly Mexican Items buffet, after the 3rd day i was craving a thick steak, they have a la cart restaurant but only have 6 tables and the wait was BIG, arrive early if want some meat. the personnel were great always around. the hotel is very center in the main road going to the Malecon and the different tourist areas, and going to the opposite way you can rent a car and go to different little town and see they festivals. but allocate a very generous time frame for driving traffic is very heavy in the avenue . My family love the food and the hotel overall, I was the one that expected more international items and better taste from the restaurants, i compare to Cancun Caribe Hotel. OHHHHH one important thing NO WIFI available in rooms only in the lobby and is very slow!!
Not as we expected
Well, we spent 8 nights The Tiki taco restaurant is horrible : bad food and bad service😥 On the other hand the Italian restaurant was the best: great food and great service. The buffets were not that good either😥 The beach is dirty as well as the pools😥 Rooms need a lot work ... the shower had no door, so the bathroom was always wet....
Great beach, but dated and small resort
The Bad: We arrived on Saturday around 3pm to see a single pool with about 100 people in it. We later learned that many locals came to Sunscape Friday and Saturday nights and the crowds for our remaining stay was more like 20 to 30 tops in the pool. The outside of the buildings show signs of paint peeling, the pool has tiles coming off throughout and the rooms are very dated. The gym is extremely small and there is very little for equipment. There are only 4 restaurants on site if you don't count the burger and dogs truck for lunch. One very disappointing thing is there is no WiFi in the rooms and you must pay $40 for 5 days on 2 devices. This is the first time I have been to an All-Inclusive where WiFi was not included. We are UVC members and this is by far the most disappointing resort we have been to. The good: The food overall is good and DaMario's is excellent. The drinks throughout our stay were very good regardless of bar. The beach was very wide and the space to covered spaces and chairs was a plenty. We had couples massage on the beach for a great price and that was fantastic.
