Went in April. Weather was humid but nice. Am a UVC member. Preferred beach was lovely, though beverage and towel service was lacking. Room was lovely; bed comfortable but took us 2 calls to housekeeping to get a different pillow. Food was ok, not great. Co-Co Cafe was always well attended by staff. World Cafe for breakfast was good. Omelets were great, good variety of food. Best dinner out of Jamaican restaurant, Rooftop Restaurant and Humitsu was the Humitsu. The staff there did not rush you and the food was very good. Very attentive waitress. Resort is smaller than other Secrets that we have been to. The Preferred Lounge was very small; not really anywhere to "lounge". Gym was good but VERY hot - didn't feel like the AC was working well. Did not utilize the spa other than to get pickleball raquets - which we played 3/4 days there - GREAT fun!! It did not seem to be fully booked as it was relatively quiet, which is what we had wanted. Compared to other Secret resorts that we have visited, this was my least favorite. I will not be returning.

Beautiful views. Customer service is A1! All the staff were friendly and attentive. The cleanliness I have no complaints about throughout the resort. Housekeeping was always there to provide if needed. Great food. Highly recommended! I will definitely come back

Best All-inclusive I have ever experienced
The best vacation experience I have had in over 30 years. The food was great. The service was excellent. The employees were friendly and helpful and always willing to do something extra if I needed it. Having Butler service was an added value. Overall, just a wonderful vacation!

I'd skipped preferred club price tag and book the regular room with add on's
The staff were lovely and did what they could with the systems at their disposal is how I would describe our experience. This was our first secrets stay and splurged on the preferred club booking with butler etc but think our expectations were a bit too high coming in. We don't like usually think of ourselves as high maintenance but felt this way here for some reason. It seemed that simple requests/ inquiries were a big deal. We would have gotten more bang for our buck to book a standard room and spend more on a la carte extra's like the cabana/ pool bed rentals. I realize that can't offer everyday but would have been nice for at least one day included in the preferred booking would have been nice. If you want a walkable beach front this isn't the property for you, there is an ocean view path but no where to walk the beach itself. The fitness center was nicely equipped but small as the solo spot for all three sections of the property and felt pretty claustrophobic. Spa was great, while we couldn't get advanced booking links to work and we were worried about availability we got slots right away and even both went back for repeat visits during our stay.

Fantastic Vacation
What a wonderful vacation!! We were treated like royalty at Secrets Wild Orchid! It could have been a good word from our wonderful travel agency, Trip Guy Travel, but we got into every restaurant we wanted, while others were complaining that they couldn't get reservations! They greeted me personally every time I walked into the lobby and they even made a special effort to come to us as we were leaving to make sure we had a good time! Secrets Wild Orchid is a fantastic vacation spot. We were there 2 years ago and enjoyed it, but since Hyatt has taken over, it is over the top for service and friendliness. I highly recommend Trip Guy Travel also, and I will definitely be using them for every vacation!
