Never stay there or nearby
What is that alarm that starts blaring at Midnight and 2-3-4 AM and afternoon hours 3-4 PM. It wakes me up and is annoying, this has gone on for 2 weeks now. Come on management, fix the problem. Waking up at the peak of my sleep only makes me madder.

Amazing Resort for 102 Guests!
We recently got married in Puerto Vallarta in January 2025. We had a room contract with Secrets/Dreams Vallarta Bay for all of our guests to stay at. We ended up having a total of 102 guests come and stay on the resort. The resort itself was amazing! All of our guests raved about how beautiful and clean the resort was. More than anything, everyone loved the food at the resort. Our guests stayed between 3-5 days and we have heard nothing but glowing reviews from everyone since we got back. We did host our rehearsal event at the resort coordinated by Livier Cortes. On the day of the rehearsal event, we had many questions and we were able to easily get a hold of Livier throughout the day. She stayed available to us and the event went off without a hitch! If you're debating on this resort, just book it. I can't recommend it enough. They have converted us to Secrets/Dreams patrons for life. Thank you to the staff and to Livier for all that you did for our guests!

The Secrets Out .. an honest review
My mother and I take an annual trip and we like our adults only all-inclusive so this year we decided to stay at this resort. First of all, Uber to and from the airport it’s literally about $20 each way if that! It’s safe and affordable We are actually Hyatt members and once we checked in, we received no greetings or upgrades, but you don’t need them because most of the property is facing the beach The rooms are nice and for couples there is a nice jetstream bathtub and nice balconies facing the ocean the refrigerator just had canned sodas and canned beer. There are no snacks. The amenities in the room were great. The beds were comfortable. And there is air-conditioning if you need it. We really enjoyed listening to the ocean. My mother is older and it was very senior friendly and had elevators and walk-in showers. So the resort itself is 10 steps away from their sister property called dreams. That is where the families are. And unfortunately, most of the restaurants. As far as the restaurants are concerned, from the various resorts, we have been in the past I would give them about a three or four out of 10 stars. And remember in Mexico adults mean 18 and over so you will see kids in the adult side. The breakfast were very enjoyable and we were able to stay on the adults only side. The lunches were only one restaurant next to the pool and the buffet that had barbecue, which was gross. So honestly stay on the adults only side and just eat breakfast at the buffet and lunch at the grill or the restaurant next to the pool. It was called ocean. They had the best food. In the evenings, the other restaurants were pretty poor. The French one on the adult side wasn’t bad. It was called Bordeaux. The property itself had about three pools. One is a swim up, which was the loud drunken side. And the worst part was that this resort does not heat their pools so it was freezing!! And if you want to walk as a form of exercise in the pools you have to be at least 59 and above. The staff at the resort were OK but be ready to tip everywhere. We enjoyed our morning server named Humberto. The entertainment staff was very hokey and honestly this was one of the most boring resorts we have stayed at. There was maybe one or two shows the entire time we were there. And there was only one activity with wine and paint. There was nothing much more to do. So if you are looking for absolutely nothing nothing nothing then this is your spot. We did a city tour on our own one day and I highly recommend you get off of the property. We unfortunately will not be back to this property, and I think secrets biggest secret is that it is very boring and poor quality of food for the amount of money that we paid. We will stick to our favorite all inclusive adults only Hyatt Zilara in Cancun!
