Josue, Raul, Bartender Manuel..were excellent host....they went beyond the call of duty...they deserve to be paid double....awesome customer service...the best we've received at the resort 😀 👍 👏 ❤️ 😊 I would eat here nightly we highly recommend Armadillo Tex Mex when you arrive at The Royalton Riviera!

The resort is very beautiful and it’s clean, unfortunately the staff and food is not the best. You have to up around 5-6am every morning in order to get a seat at the pool are. I tried to call a week before our trip and emailed them for over a week to discuss room upgrade etc. they never answered any of my emails or phone calls. We asked for extra towels for showering and was questioned everytime why my family of 4 needs eight towels. When checking in they encourage you to download their app and use that to make dinner reservations and see daily activities. It’s great for a schedule for you and your family plans. However getting dinner reservations at any of the restaurants is impossible unless you upgrade to the diamond club and or offer an employee some side money and they will try to get you a dinner reservation. The buffet is okay not the best they staff in there buffet wasn’t very good to us. It was very dark to get them to get your drinks. The bars outside ran out of ice many times, so that wasn’t good at all. Also it takes a little bit to order a drink at the pool bars. Overall the staff really did not care about how I felt or tried to apologize. My favorite dinner was Habachi. The best quality of food and the staff was great and my family really enjoyed themselves at dinner. We only got our reservations because we did a tour. I wouldn’t go back to the resort it is way to crowded over booked not enough staff.

Anniversary of 9 years was amazing
Best bartender RICARDO Best experience for our anniversary. All services were highly appreciated and loved. The service was amazing. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will be back next year for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thanks for Ricardo and Josue the best bartender in the bar hideaway

We just stayed at this hotel. The staff is very attentive and does their best despite the hotel's condition. We had a problem with our room and it was quite frustrating, to be honest. But when we informed our butlers, Jose, the manager, took care of us. Our experience was much better than before. Not only was the problem resolved, he checked on us every day and gave us recommendations on dining and activities. At the pools, Aaron always made us feel welcome, and the pool butlers were very helpful. The entire team did an excellent job; I can't thank them enough. P.S. We're planning our vacation once it's remodeled.

Wedding Experience
Ilse Pérez was amazing!! She helped us with everything & made our day very special! We did not have to worry about anything because she was there for everything! We highly recommend Ilse to help you enjoy your special day!! Our wedding day was amazing!!
