Hotel experience
The experience at Hotel Republica was a 10 out of 10. It is an adult only resort so the vibes were perfect. The first night there was a karaoke night and it was so much fun. I stayed on the west side of the resort, but the east side of the resort was way better in terms of the pool fun and I believe that’s because on the east side; the pool is right next to the beach so there’s people that are apart the resort and people that are aren’t. so every day my friend’s and I made our way over to the other side of the resort to enjoy the pool. I got there on a Tuesday and then we were able to experience karaoke night the white party, the pink party, international night, “beach party”, and the club that they have open every night at 11 PM and just the every day pool parties. The hotel does provide pool towels but during check in they give you a pool card so you have to give the pool card in order to get a towel and you cannot receive your pool card back until you give back a towel and it seem like a lot of people were not returning towels, so sometimes they didn’t have towels to offer Overall, I will give the dining options a 7 1/2 out of 10. There is about 9 restaurants if I’m not mistaken and I was able to try 7 restaurants and majority of them were Buffet style. There is a steak restaurant that we were not able to try because the lines were just overwhelming and we just didn’t have enough time but I’ve heard great things about that restaurant so if you get the opportunity go. All restaurants are first come first serve, but for the steak restaurant it gets so busy that sometimes they do give you a time slot to come back. The rooms are nice. The beds are not stuck to the floor. They are easy to move but overall the cleanliness is a seven out of 10. The only issue is sometimes when we get new towels there was hair on the towels, but every time they come and clean your room, they put flowers on your bed , we went for my birthday and they left me a birthday present on the day of my birthday. All the staff were, extremely sweet and helpful. If you want a partying in Hotel this is the place to go. If you are a stuck up vacationers and don’t like noise, this is not the place for you.

I stayed in the Rui Montego Bay last yr that was amazing but after my experience this time I would never stay in a Rui hotel again 🙁

If you are into a "Pontins in the sun" vibe, this is place for you. If you have standards and self respect stay well away
This resort is exclusively a party resort. TUI in the UK will sell the resort as a luxury, relaxing, all adult resort. This isn't the case sadly. There are a few pools, the main party pool was pooped in, vomited in and had used condoms floating about the one day. The quiet pool is anything but quiet after all the party people have woken up. The other pools are mildly better than the party pool, just watch out for the cigarette ends and drunk people tipping and spilling their drinks in there. You get no sleep, unless you are drunk. Guests will scream, shout, bang on your door, break glasses, and stay in the volleyball pool making a racket till about 4am - every night. You also get to witness some pretty shocking domestic abuse between couples. The food is quite bad unless you are drunk. The oriental and the Italian restaurants are truly an insult to both cuisines. The steakhouse is the best for food by far. The buffets, Indian restaurant and Jerk chicken were okay. The housekeeping staff will steal from you even if you tip them. They will steal clothes and shoes more than electrical items. I had 2 brand new bras, a pair of trainers and a hoodie taken from my room. Another lady had 2 pairs of sandals taken from hers, again she had tipped them. The staff in general are not great, some are lovely and will help you, others won't even acknowledge your existence unless you tip them. The beach is small but clear of seaweed. Overall if you just want to be drunk all the time and you have low standards this is the resort for you.

Had a great time.
We went to Riu Republica to celebrate my bfs graduation and birthday. Arrived on a Thursday, left on a Sunday and did not need to leave the resort. One of our favorite events was the Pink Party on Friday, the lines to go are long but they move fast. There are a lot of places to eat most are buffet, the steak house is hard to find and some time are to get on the waitlist because they do not have reservations. The app stated that there were two steak houses on the resort but not on the resort map and no one was able to tell us where the second one was. The jerk chick hut was delicious located right near the pool and bar. We also had a great time going down the multiple water slides on the resort. It was hard to get pool / beach towels, it seemed like they were always out of towels. We also had a couples massage at the spa on the resort which was very relaxing. Overall we had a great time.
