Why the hell would you put the bars next to the bedrooms? It’s possible to sleep at night, its absolutely horrible. The worst vacation I’ve ever had. The bars should be far away from the bedrooms. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!

DO NOT TAKE VALUABLE ITEMS TO THIS HOTEL OR CASH IN YOUR BAGS. I stayed 8/4- 8/8 and on the third day I went to the pool and got my purse stolen ... I was shocked because this was my third time visiting Punta Cana and the two previous hotels I have gone to (RIU Palace Bavaro & Hyatt Cap Cana) this has never happened to me.. I spent all night with my boyfriend trying to figure out who took it to then found out reception had my purse the next morning because the security turned it in ... Our phones and everything was in there except our cash... We got robbed $200.... We had two friends we met there that had their phones and bags stolen as well the next day and they ended up going to receptionist and security turned it in as well. I believe the workers have a scheme were they steal bags and take cash and return bags at the front desk. PLEASE BE CAREFUL, DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING VALUABLE AND TRY TO HAVE THE LEAST AMOUNT OF CASH IN YOUR BAGS. Look at more reviews of other people that have visited and you will see that this has happened to others. 2. Our room had a sewage smell to it and it was average... the shower head in our room was rusty and the room was not cleaned very well. There was hairs all over the floor from the previous travelers and the toilet didn't flush properly. 3. THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE so be prepared to take water bottles and food into your room before you settle in. 4. The buffet food is average and they mix and match the buffet food in the restaurants. I did enjoy the mango, and jerk chicken that was at the beach. 5. Take your own beach towel because they never have beach towels available . The reason I give this hotel a 3 star review is because we got robbed, the staff isn't very welcoming... The many times I have gone to Punta Cana the staff always says hi and makes travelers feel welcomed but the staff here was very bland, no room service, average room quality and food. BUT the best part about this hotel was the parties such as the foam parties, pool bar parties, the beach and the youthful energy. Just be careful with your personal belongings. It was an average experience, I wouldn't go again.

    Let yourself go...

So 10 days is enough for you to relax around the pool in the fantastic weather, having drinks available everywhere. There is a very wide selection of food to choose from at each meal time with snacks available 24/7 in Sports bar. Our room was quiet & mainly peaceful until nearer the weekend when the corridors were noisy in the early hours. People just partying as they too are on holiday! Beautiful grounds with a few friendly cats. Great that there was a gym but it was pretty humid and you had to time it right for certain equipment.

Just stayed here 10 days from 29th July Definitely not a 5 star hotel .. 3 at the best .. very few staff understand English. Cheap drinks not branded.. could only get coke light every couple of days if your lucky and had cheap cola (nasty) Whole complex is run down.. No information about anything .. No where to got as excursions were in spanish Diy holiday couldn't get a beach towel if you wanted one after 9.30 Buffet restaurants were OK Have stayed in riu hotels before and this was by far the worst ever ... If your from the UK go to another hotel !!

It was one thing after the next for me would not go back to this resort.

When we got to the resort it was before 3pm so the room wasn't ready which was okay. So we went to get a bite to eat and when we came back at 3pm we were sent to the room. I was not what we wanted, we ask for 2 beds and were met with 1 bed so that was the first issue. We had to debate for a room with 2 beds finally they gave us something until tomorrow which wasn't an Ocean view which we were okay because we were told we would get it the next day. The next day so hot we finally got our room all the way on the other side and just looking for it was hectic. we finally got there and the room was okay and Ocean view it was nice. my friend had put her stuff in the safe from the room we just left and remembered she left it in there, by the time she went back they were already in the sage. she came back soon enough to find the maid and she gave her back her passport and wallet but they stole her jewelry and money. And management didn't do anything they pretty much said her word against the maid/ security. So that kind of dampen the mood my friend was really upset after that. we had to call twice about the hot water and also the shower wasn't draining properly like you taking a bath. The room view was good , they had a lot of ants all over the nightstand, dresser and the floor. The only place i felt was friendly was at the buffet they had every night. The food was good and the drinks were watered down. I just stayed with the wine the rest of the trip. i had another issue we had a do not disturb sign on the door and i just happen to be in the room and a maid walks in surprise to see me. I complain to management and they said the maid said she went in because the door was open makes no sense just pull it close. So i have an issue with the trustworthy of staff. I want to feel safe with staff. I felt awful having to complain about everything, but i paid an substantial amount to have fun. They weren't apologetic enough management as well. Its really a beautiful place.
