Our vacation was outstanding!! We can’t complain about anything! It was a wonderful experience overall!! The cleanliness, the safety and everything that was being done to keep us safe during this situation (COVID) helped us have a wonderful time!
Our TA put together a great all inclusive package that included Hotel RIU Palace Las Americas for adults only. I believe there were around 35 to 40 in our group and we had the time of our lives with food, drink and making new friends. This our first all inclusive and I must say it was well worth the money. The cleanliness of the facility was amazing with ongoing effort of taking your temperature to constant use of hand sanitizer. The rooms were very clean and organized with servicing about three times a day. There was a wide variety of food and not bad for the price we paid. It was not gourmet food but still good. I would go back again, especially if cruising is still not an option.
Great customer service
The staff did an outstanding job and the food & drinks were very good. I love the large room and the view of the ocean. The dress code was very casual and the entertainment at night was enjoyable. The pool area was very lively.
This was by far my favorite all inclusive resort trip! The service was impeccable. Before I could even get settled in my beach chair someone was there offering to put up an umbrella or get me a drink! The staff was friendly and fast to meet every need. Everything was clean and sanitized. The food in each of the specialty restaurants was 5 star quality. When I return to Cancun this will be my choice!
Five Star Review - Reduced to Three and Half at the Exit
This is the best all inclusive resort I have visited. That is a lot to say about a place, yet it does not come without a BUT! It’s a let me nickel and dime you BUT. It’s a let me remind you before you leave that we are still a company concentrated on money. So the bad, it’s Mexico! It’s Cancun and my fiancé and I just got engaged a couple of days prior upon arriving at this resort with a moonlit dinner on the edge of the infinity pool with the beach, the moon and a wonderful ambiance as our back drop. Our waiter Adriel, was just amazing!!! Two days later, we started too early on the Tequila and too hard. The hotel uses industrialized white sheets on the bed, for a reason, they need to bleach and disinfect. I get it, white is better! So, when my future wife got a little sick. I thought nothing of calling room service, since, a little bit got on the sheets and just the sheets. I was able to be quick enough and get most in the waste basket. The last thing on my mind at this point, was that I was going to be charged, for all the sheets on the way out. WHITE INDUSTRIAL STYLE SHEETS, ON THE WAY OUT. To the tune that I could have bought the nicest Egyptian cotton sheets for my own house with. I paid it, cause, arguing seemed a fools errand. YET, it turned a 5 star review, into a 3.5 star review in the blink of an eye. So, if you stay, and you get sick in Mexico at the Riu. DO NOT do so in your room. Cause, RIU will make you pay even if you did so just in the white sheets they say they had to throw away because of COVID, but I can guarantee, GUARANTEE they just washed and bleached. So, other than that! Amazing amenities. The staff, amazing, the service, amazing, the grounds, amazing, the rooms, amazing. Most importantly, the food amazing. We tried all the restaurants and they were all top notch including the buffet. The pools were great to just sit and chill. The beach has all the right bits. The SERVICE is amazing. The PEOPLE working there are worth the trip alone. Not once did I not feel cared for. In the end though, it’s a corporation and they are in the business of making money and I FELT THAT in the end. Wish I had not. So, amazing place. Just remember nickel and dime, and be wary of that.
