Overall, a fantastic stay at Riu Palace Costa Mujeres! The resort is beautiful and conveniently located, with a stunning beach and plenty of lounge chairs—plus it never felt crowded. Service was great across the board. The buffet was hands down the best dining option, though the Mexican and Japanese restaurants were decent as well. We weren’t fans of the Italian restaurant, and the Steakhouse didn’t look very appealing. A nice touch was the themed drinks each night—well-executed and fun, thanks to the great bartenders. The nightly shows were underwhelming, but that didn’t bother us much. The one major downside: absolutely no umbrellas on the beach. It’s surprising no one mentions it—without solid shade, you're at serious risk of getting burned, especially with the palm trees swaying constantly. Other than that, highly recommend.

We stayed at the Riu Palace April 5 - 15th for a wedding with a group of almost 60 guests. Everyone commented throughout the stay how great the food & service was with first come first serve A la Carte which were incredible. Huge shut outs to Sanchez the server in Square Garden and Jorge at the buffet who were two of the best servers in our opinion at resort. We stay at a lot of Riu's & this one was by far the best. Thanks to Sanchez & Jorge for taking such good care of us & all of our group.

Amazing experience at Riu Palace Costa Mujeres
The Resort was absolutely amazing, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The view from my suite was breathtaking. I will definitely book again to this paradise.

Wife’s birthday
Trip was excellent especially the service and friendliness of all your staff especially one of your directors Gerard and staff from the bar like Alfredo, Sanchez,Casanova and Gonzales from the coffee bar. I also want to send a shout out to Aisela and Suzy from the buffet. Daniel the host from the steakhouse was also very courteous and efficient.

RIU Costco Mujures
Resort was extremely clean. Friendly staff. Excellent variety of food. Many activities if you wanted to participate. More washrooms around the resort would make it easier. They didn't have any at the water slides and it was difficult to if you had multiple kids and one adult to travel back to the resort if a washroom was required. We had 5 rooms and every female travelling with us had difficulty with the mattresses. Back pain by the second day.. Also, not the result of anything the resort has done, but there was poop each day on the beach and in the water. Even as far out when we kayaked. Maybe a cruise ship or other resort was dumping sewage? Not sure.
