    Great time!

This was my 7 year anniversary trip planned without a travel agent. And I must say this was the absolute best experience I’ve had.The drinks were giving what need to be given as well as the food! I can’t wait until my next trip will be with Riu again.

    Fantastic stay!

We had a great time! Everything was easily accessible and the views were great. We went to relax and that’s what we did.

    Graduation and Birthday Celebration

Very nice hotel and the staff were amazing. The junior suite ocean view room is a bit tight and the bathroom arrangement is strange. I would stay there again.

    Avoid all RIU’s in Cabo

I hate this hotel. Like really hate it and will never go to a RIU anywhere. There was some good but the RIU Cabo Palace is a disappointment. My room was old and cheap but super clean. Its like a Best Western but super clean. Whoever hires for housekeeping deserves a raise because the housekeeping team is good at their jobs and also very kind. It’s not their fault the hotel is dated. Food is not good. Breakfast buffet is good but nothing else. Like stomachache bad. I guess that could be good because I felt skinny all trip. But the service was excepetional. Blanca at the Breakfast Buffet always welcomed us for breakfast and made sure our mimosas will always full. The dated, gross Italian place had the nicest server who barely spoke English but was so nice(I wish I took her name becuse she was awesome). Fusion place was meh food with great service. Steakhouse, I have no clue because they could never get me in. Drinks were only ok but we had nice people serving them. I needed 3 chairs by pool, no problem the nice guy made it happen. Almost every bartender served with a smile. So why do I hate it. I like fancier places. This might have been nice in the 90’s but it is so bad now. The layout is dumb. It is a maze. Too much walking and up and down stairs. I can almost even get over that (I can’t but am trying to be nice) but the front desk staff is awful. They are down right mean. The lobby is so ugly. Old cheap statues and a weird pyramid with neon. They add costs and try to confuse you. I hope you don’t need help because they won’t try to help. As a group of women, we decided that maybe it was the men being condescending to a group of women. This is front desk not restaurants. I can’t believe I was spoken to in the manner which these little men talked to me. We went to the Santa Fe. Nope. Too many people. Imagine 20 year olds partying next to families with kids. The food there was even worse. The baja has better food we heard but we didn’t like the vibe as much. The Palace has the best pool experience of the 3. DO NOT STAY HERE. Spend the extra money to go somewhere nicer. My driver said Casa Dorado, Pueblo Bonita, and Fiesta Americana are very nice. I haven’t been to any but I would try those over Riu. I have stayed south at Cabo Azul which is luxury and great service. I will never stay at a Riu again anywhere. I have too little vacation time to waste on a trashy hotel with a mean front desk staff (sorry pool and restaurant staff, you were all great but can’t outweigh bad decor and unfriendly front desk).

    Paradise!

This was our 1st trip to Los Cabos. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas was simply amazing! All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was superb! The property was kept in excellent shape the entire time. At any time of the day you could see staff cleaning and maintaining the resort. Even the restrooms in the main areas were spotless. I am already planning next year's trip with a Riu Palace.
