We stayed at the hotel and after checkout received a chard for dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The night we were charged for dinner we ate at another restaurant in Birmingham at the same time and then were charged for breakfast at an onsite restaurant when we checked out of the hotel an hour or more before breakfast was eaten. Both meals were charged to our account with no proof of ID. Crooked staff. Only my wife and I stayed at the hotel.

Stunning location, beautiful resort.
This resort is gorgeous. It’s located in the hills in very nice area outside of Birmingham. We stayed for a college visit. The bagpipes in the evening is a nice touch. The swimming pool is great. There’s plenty of seating. The poolside bar and grill has great drinks but the food menu lacks a bit where variety is concerned. The other eating and drinking options on site are good with a solid menu. Would definitely recommend this location and it will be our go to when visiting our son while he’s at school.

Beautiful Resort
This resort is simply breathtaking! I decided to stay another night in Birmingham due to bad weather. I’ve never visited Birmingham before and this resort was definitely a perfect choice!!! Beautiful scenery inside and outside. It had the feel of a castle in Scotland. Plenty of great dining options. Bagpipes at sunset, bells ringing each hour, and cozy fireplaces! The staff was wonderful and ensured that my stay was pleasant! I will definitely be back!

Amazing
When you drive up your in front of a castle, just beautiful. Walk in the front door and it just as beautiful. You are greeted eminently This staff knows what real customer service is about. While having our meals here as well, top notch. The pool areas and nightly fire pits are so relaxing. Cannot wait to stay with them again.

NICE BED.... BUT SUBSTANDARD FOR THE BRAND
Third time to stay here over the years (always for the nearby RTJ golf). In the past, service was always fine, if not outstanding. This time..... Had to keep asking for towels. Service in restaurants was uneven and sometimes, belligerent. The valet outside didn't know his own space / rules for parking. Then on top of that, someone in golf course maintenance KILLED the greens with the wrong chemical mix about 2 days before we arrived; so a $200 golf course reduced to Muny quality putting. I understand staff shortages are everywhere.. but lower your prices in response.
