We love love the resort and Deidra!

We had an amazing time and loved the resort. It's a beautiful place. Everyone was so friendly, especially Deidra at check in. She was incredibly helpful. There are several great restaurants on the property. Several great options for breakfast. There are some beautiful walks as well.

    Southern hospitality

My husband had a recent conference at the Omni Amelia Island and my daughter and I tagged along. It is our second trip to this fantastic resort and this trip was just as wonderful as the last. The staff is exceptional, starting with Anthony the PM Manager. He was welcoming, genuine, and extremely helpful. He addressed us by name each time he saw us. The rooms were clean and cool and the views are some of the best you can find. The pool and lobby are so well kept and the meeting spaces were big and bright and my husband, who travels all over the world for business, said they were some of the best he has used. The food was exceptional. We ate at the Sunrise Cafe, Oceanside, and The Verandah. Our server Katherine at the Sunrise Cafe was beyond great! The hotel should be utilizing her in a management position because I and at least 50 of the other couples in our party said the exact same thing. My husband who is in upper management, said he would hire her in a second! She is seriously one of the most professional, friendly, and hard-working people I have met. Overall another top-notch trip to the Omni Amelia Island and we will be back for sure!!

    Felt like VIP

From the moment you enter, you are treated like royalty. Everyone is so friendly. The beds looked a little scary at first ( could hear the springs and when you sat on them, the bottom, made a loud sound) but they were actually quite comfortable. The pillows did not disappoint. Deidra at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. Kris at Valet was so helpful as I was trying to adjust to my surroundings. He helped me find my room and my conference area. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy FL's natural beauty, Omni is the place

Enjoyable Stay with Room for Improvement

Our recent stay at the Omni Hotel at Amelia Island was enjoyable overall, though a few aspects could be improved to make it truly exceptional. Arrival Experience: Our arrival was a bit underwhelming. The initial bell attendant barely acknowledged us, which was disappointing. However, Nate stepped in and completely turned things around. He was friendly, attentive, and professional, waiting for us at the room with our luggage neatly arranged and providing a thorough overview of the property. Room: Room 621 offered a stunning view, but the room itself felt dated and in need of a refresh. It reminded us more of a budget hotel than a luxury resort. The cleanliness was also lacking, as we found trash in the bin upon arrival. On a positive note, the bed was incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful sleep, much appreciated by both my wife and me. Daily housekeeping was reliable and met our expectations. Hotel Exterior: The exterior of the hotel could use some attention. Several areas appeared weathered and in need of pressure washing or a fresh coat of paint. It’s not what we expected from a high-end resort and somewhat detracted from the overall aesthetic. Dining and Amenities: We were thoroughly impressed with the breakfast at Seaglass—delicious food, fast service, and a delightful start to our mornings. Poolside service was also commendable, with prompt delivery and tasty food. The gym was functional with adequate equipment. Check-Out: Checking out was a breeze. The online option was convenient and efficient, a feature I hadn’t encountered before but greatly appreciated. Final Thoughts: Despite a few hiccups, we had a great stay and plan to return. With some improvements, particularly in the welcoming nature of the bell staff and the upkeep of the hotel’s exterior, the Omni Hotel at Amelia Island could offer a truly outstanding experience. We look forward to seeing these enhancements on our next visit. Thank you, Omni Hotel, for a mostly wonderful stay. We’re excited to see the positive changes next time!

My favorite Beach Resort - Omni Amelia Island

My wife and I visited this property for the 10th time this June 2024. I always seem to find myself wanting to return to this vacation resort property. I have stayed in 25--30 of the Omni properties either on business or vacation and this is one of my favorites. If you want a chill beach scene, great family retreat (adult only or family) this is it! The OMNI IBIS suite is my favorite. The adult pool and beach are the places to recharge. Gerie Clay the loyalty ambassador made last min. adjustments to accommodate my room preference. She is amazing! The charming near town of Fernandina is a must for lunch and boutique shopping. Being only a 40 min drive from JAX airport it's the easiest vacation destination to get to with no stress. Nicole has worked the beach bar since I started coming 10 years ago. Great classy lady. Next year will bring my grand kids who will love all those pool contests. PAPA might even partake in the biggest splash contest (adults only category). I cannot recommend this resort more! I am a hotel/travel snob of sorts but Omni just kills it for me every time! Keep it up Omni!!!
