HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Upon arrival to hear "Aloha and Welcome Back to the Ohana East" was the start of another wonderful family vacation. Kiana, hotel manager has an excellent staff. Front office thank you to Denise, Marilou, Tracy, Cassandra, and Sarah; Bell - Kalani, Jonathan, Leo, & Joyce in housekeeping. The entire team always friendly, very accommodating, and patient. YOU FEEL THE ALOHA SPIRIT! The guest rooms are very clean, great views worth the upgrade. Rooms are dated and hopeful for renovations in the near future. Location of the hotel is very convenient - ease in and out of Waikiki. There is available parking, restaurants, beauty salon, and activities desk on property. Also, next to the International Market Place, across the street from Princess Ka'iulani Park, the new Waikiki Market full grocery store, and public transportation. Waikiki Beach is in walking distance with more restaurants and retail shops. Much Gratitude to the OHANA WAIKIKI EAST TEAM! STAY HERE and BOOK NOW!

Great stay at an affordable, nice and simple comfortable with amazing staff in town with walking distance to many places
Great place for a stay with family. If your going to be out and about all day its a great simple place to stay with access to alot of different eateries nearby plus it has its own parking lot. First time staying at this location and Marilou at the front desk was amazing!! She is very welcoming and excellent customer service. She made check in process easy and quick. She was very accommodating and informative. All staff are friendly and helpful. Marilouʻs recommendations for food were excellent. Daily servicing of the room and i didnt have to ask. Good size fridge not like the square small ones at other hotels where u cant fit hardly anything in there. Beds very comfortable and roomy. We ate downstairs at Tanaka of Tokyo for dinner. Breakfast and coffee at the cafe in the lobby was good. There is also a little craft pizza and wine bar. Walking distance to alot of places and easy pick up and drop off for uber. I definitely recommend this nice, clean and simple decor, family friendly hotel. I will definitely stay there again! Ask for Marilou at front desk. She is the best!

Jan-Feb 2023 visit
Great location, friendly staff, clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. I had a room with a decent view. Shuttle service to/from the airport however you could save money and take the city transit easily to Waikiki for Pennie’s if you have an hour to spend in transit! This hotel is a short block from the beach with no restaurant onsite. The pool was closed for maintenance when I was there and their sister property is too far to waste my time walking…beach has a beautiful view! The hotel had a small on-the go bistro place with minimal things on the menu but good if your in a rush. Cheapest place to eat nearby was Cheesecake Factory with a great menu and decent prices! If you are looking for a modern hotel, this is not the place for you…interior is outdated.

Very noisy place
Really thin walls. Rooms havent have an upgrade since Scar Face era. You can hear basically all the conversations from both sides of room making it really hard to sleep. Ad to that the poor glass door to the street and you are in a sad situation. We had to leave the hotel...

Very Very Noisy
We stayed at Ohana for two nights, stayed in waikiki for 7 nights, first five nights at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki and 2 nights at the Ohana. You can hear everything from the balconys and next door rooms, even conversations. They moved us to a higher floor but it was the same. Never staying here again. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.
