Service with Aloha
Perfect for family travel, good location and wonderful workers. Front desk, bellman, and housekeepers were very friendly. Location was close to Queens medical center to uber back and forth for a good price. Dinning was just steps away. Also there is a coffee shop right downstairs in the lobby which is perfect to start your day!!!

Great location for the price
First time at this hotel. Cannot fault it for the price. Great location as it is close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Just slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Yes it is old and in need of a revamp but it was clean and our room was maintained daily. Minor complaint was that the shower was too small. Lol. Friendly and helpful staff especially housekeeping. Unfortunately the pool was still under renovation and it looks like it will be completed soon. Bonus in that there was a laundromat around the corner. Would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again. A pleasant stay.

Reconsider staying here
Fantastic location. Our shower was lukewarm at best - some days the ocean was warmer than the shower unless you want to shower at 8.30pm or later (which is when the maintenance man came and found the water to be fine). Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired - used cotton tipped applicator was on bedroom floor and when I pulled the curtains open it fell out on the floor in full view so I left it there to see how long it would take for it to be picked up (plus I had no gloves) and it stayed there for 2 full days before it was removed. We opened the ice bucket and there was a black hair in it. On our first morning we received a phone call to say maintenance needed urgent access to our balcony because a wall was falling away….didn’t really give us confidence that the other fixtures (railings etc) on the balcony where secure. Our room was a 1 br suite with huge balcony and we had 2 outdoor chairs and a table yet when I asked could we have 2 sun loungers to use on the balcony they didn’t have any…..very strange considering the pool area is closed for renovation - we were given a refund of half the resort fees but that was a token gesture. Will absolutely not be staying here again. All of these issues had been raised with the hotel.

Awesome location with lovely staff!
The hotel is in a great location, just 5 min walk from the beach. It's also convenient to the Waikiki shopping area that was a huge plus. The front desk greeted us and always helped us with our needs, smiling. They also provide beach towels for free to bring to the beach. Our room was on the 11th floor and had a balcony and a partial view of the Ocean, which was beautiful and soothing. The room was also a nice size for the 3 of us. I want to give a big shout out to our housekeeper, Wai, which went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and make sure we have the best time in Hawaii. I would love to stay here again when I visit Waikiki next time.

Beware of insane creditcard hold, location is good
The location in Waikiki is excellent. However I have a serious comment on this place people should be aware of. We stayed there for 4 nights, room and tax was paid for in advance. We needed to pay for parking which was $35 and for resort fee. Some $31 a night. During our stay I saw a hold on my creditcard of $250!! So after 4 Days the hold on the Card was almost $1000, for a bill of $267. This is an insane amount. I complained about this at the frontdesk, but they continued their policy and said she would tell the manager. This hold will influence your spending ability untill released!
