Great Staff, Nice resort for a great budget!
We Love the staff! Titos team in the Carnival buffet make it amazing they are above and beyond! Brisa is also very amazing and Alex makes you feel like a VIP always taking care of us every step! Russel in the Preferred bar is top! Honestly We Loved everyone! Rooms are dated but clean the hotel in nice we loved it! Love the location to the Hotel Zone and mall ect...
Great resort with a jaw dropping view of the beach!! Amazing staff that helped my family have a wonderful trip. Tito, Maneses, Yusmar, took care of us every morning for breakfast and made our breakfast as enjoyable as possible. Through the day, we participated in a lot of events (mostly pool volleyball) with Edwin and Alexis who made it so fun! Jesus was always hustling to bring us food and drinks on our beach days. Our favorite waiter who was at every restaurant was Jonathan, always on top of our orders and refills on drinks etc. There are many more that always had smiles in their eyes and just made it a very happy environment! Thank you all so much for treating us like family!
5 day get away with the wife
First I want to say anybody writing very negative reviews should be ashamed of themselfs. This hotel is fantastic for getaways with friends and the wife. The food was great. You had an option of 4 (5) star restaurants that were included in the all inclusive package. Wife and I did the math and it would cost us around $700 -$800 in the States to visit these type of restaurants. We did one every night. It was very romantic. The buffet was also great. Much to choose from and the service was fast and with a smile. The rooms were clean and the fridge stocked. The service from everybody in the hotel was comparable to any 5 star hotel in Cancun. Amazing people that would smile and greet you at any location. Anything you needed was provided. The pool was awsome and you can sit and drink while you watch the waves on the beach. Beach was just a 20 second walk from the pool and the beach chairs were always availble. The water was blue and luke warm for February. Wife and I reconnected and even did hotel photography which was much cheaper then anything you can do in the States. The free Covid tests were such a pleasant gift and the medical technicians were very good. In conclusion, don't hesitate and just book this now. Cheers and have fun.
From beginning to end we were treated so greatly! I spent most of my time outdoors to enjoy the weather and scenery as long as I could. The pool bar/restaurant staff were very attentive, no complaints. The food here is delicious. Special thanks to Luis (carnival staff), Edwin (pool staff), and Darla (receptionist).
Happy (NOT) Valentine’s Day
My brother chose this place to get married. Ugh. We booked a year in advance for a Preferred Room with a Plunge Pool. At the Preferred Check In, they ran my card 3 times and he kept saying declined. We tried to call my bank and Angel couldn’t even dial out. Finally I called my bank and they said it had never been hit. It was their machine. Been traveling all day and just wanted to go to our room and we had to sit through a sales pitch for a time share. Ugh. Got to the room and it smelled horrible. Like mold and wet towels. This was a premium room! The rooms all needed updating and do not look like the website pictures. That night the plumbing screamed! We had to get up three to four times a night to flush the toilet to get it to stop. Throughout our stay we saw about 3 other plumbing issues. Water running out of ceiling and walls. Due to a winter storm in Dallas, our flight home was cancelled. I talked to the Preferred team to extend our stay at our current rate. Nope! Wanted to charge us double! And then an extra $50 per person per day to stay in our room! So I just booked on Priceline and got a better deal. Remember my whole family (16 people) stayed there and paid big money! They also made us pay $35 each for a second Covid Test because we extended our stay! The last night we were there, it took 1 hour and 45 min to get food at the Asian restaurant. Only two restaurants are open right now each night (they rotate). The final straw was when we checked out our Spa bill was $50 higher. I asked why and they said currency conversion. I explained that I am an accountant and currency doesn’t fluctuate that much, and they removed it. Do not stay here. It’s ridiculous. The pool, the beach, and the servers/entertainment outside were good.
