Fantastic Hotel in Waikiki
What a beautiful hotel right on the beach of Waikiki. It's historic but it's totally modern at the same time. Bedding was fantastic. Breakfast at the veranda restaurant was fantastic. The beach is outstanding. Shopping and restaurants are steps away yet the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Staff members are friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this place. This is the place to stay in Waikiki

Moana Surfrider Hotel
We loved the hotel. Our stay included breakfast each morning and a $75 credit at the hotel. Drinks were delicious. The patio on the beach side was great. We had breakfast and dinner there and drinks. At night there was live music, which they had individual singers, they were very good. Beds were comfortable. Service was excellent. Food was very good. Great place to stay.

Moana Surfrider
Bed is great, excellent service and fabulous views. The car valet makes being in the center of the hustle and bustle a breeze. We sat at the bar and met Kat. She was absolutely wonderful and incredible welcoming. Made us laugh and gave us some great recommendations on things to do while here. Would love to come back and visit!

Great facility, and location ... bathroom too TINY!
Wonderful hotel ... good location, helpful staff, and a great outdoor back patio lounge & dining area! My only complaint was the "size" of the bathroom ... TINY! Too little space to maneuver, and too little countertop to adequately store bath necissities.

There are better places to stay
The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of Waikiki and sits right on the beach. The hotel rooms are dated and could use a refresh. The wallpaper was peeling in areas and the bathroom shower in our room leaked. Our television stopped working and when we notified the front desk they said someone would be right up. Nobody showed and my husband ended up fixing the television on his own. My family has been to Oahu a handful of times, and we will definitely head back to the North Shore the next time we visit.
