Expensive items robbed from hotel room

I recently stayed at Loews Sapphire Falls for a week and was initially impressed by the hotel’s atmosphere and amenities. However, upon returning home, I discovered that several expensive clothing items were missing from my luggage. This was incredibly disappointing and completely overshadowed what had otherwise been a pleasant stay. I immediately contacted the hotel, and while they did open an investigation, I’ve received no meaningful updates and have little confidence anything will come of it. It’s extremely upsetting to spend hard-earned money on a trip, only to feel violated and let down by the lack of accountability. Until this is properly addressed, I can’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning. Travelers should take extra care with their belongings when staying here.

    Perfect stay as always!!

This is our third time staying at the resort and I was so excited for my husband and toddler to visit for the first time. When we checked in all of our requests had been met, we had high floor interconnecting rooms with my mum. We were also in tower 3 which goes down directly to the boat transport. The rooms are spacious, clean and amazing. We had enough room for the two beds and the pack and play for our toddler. We also had a bath which was super handy when you have a toddler. There is nothing better than coming back to a cold room after being in the parks. The staff were outstanding, everyone was helpful and friendly. The food is amazing as are the drinks. I would always choose to stay here out of all the universal hotels, the pool area speaks for itself and proximity to the parks. Tips Request a high floor room They have great baby/toddler facilities, they provided a pack and play and cute amenity kit for her You get an hour extra in the park each morning, use it to get on hagrids. We had room 3827 and whilst the view was of endless summer way, the rooms were spacious, quiet and clean. I would go back to this hotel over and over again! I have travelled the world and worked in travel and would highly recommend this hotel

    Exceptional

Perfection . Perfect location, perfect hotel, perfect staff. This hotel is central to everything short boat taxi to city walk which runs every 15 minutes, through which you can access universal studios and island of adventure . Volcano bay is less than 5 minutes walk . Hotel it's self has lovely spacious rooms and the extra roll a subbed we needed was perfect true single size bed with very comfortable mattress. Lovely clean warm pool with abundance of life guards on duty at all times ( lifeguards are lifeguards not babysitters so please look after your own children). Pool side bar and cafe excellent we had alot here never disappointed. ( Anakin is the best so helpful and knowledgeable we loved him ) . Would recommend getting the refill bottle for your complete stay at 20 dollars saves you lots . Pool side games was great fun to spend hot afternoon. View of the lagoon from our room was stunning i miss this .all staff very helpful from concierge to to the cleaners . We will definitely be back and will recommend to Anyone. Love the fire pit in the evenings for smores .

    Not a good time

The beds are miserably uncomfortable, had to rotate like a rotisserie chicken all night when I could sleep but do to the loud music they keep on outside that was near impossible. We went to Amitistas and it was practically empty and they said we needed a reservation and that 6 was booked up so we got in at 6:30 so we went and it was still empty. The food was not good and was expensive. For one beer it’s $12 but with tax and the gratuity they charge it was $60 for 4 domestic cans of beer. There is no privacy at all if you need to use the restroom in your room, loud kids running and jumping all night. Just a horrible stay overall

Even the least expensive universal resort is better

Worst hotel of the Universal Resorts we have stayed at and we have stayed at all of them, including the 3 new ones. Room was dark and dismal, bed creaked when sat on, electrical unit outside of small window, far from everything, had to take 2 different elevators to get to the boat dock. The Mgmt didnt care about our concern when they messaged to check on how our visit was going. We had booked the room on their website with our season passholder rate for our 30th Anniversary, only thing I asked for was a higher room close to an elevator, we didn't even get 1 of the 2. Don't ever stay in room 2272, though it might be the least used room in the hotel and it is very quiet because no one wants to be in that area of the hotel so I guess it has some pros. Customer service is non existent in this hotel, so surprising for a Loews property. This trip we stayed at 4 different properties and 3 were top notch like always!
