Magical stay in a wonderful hotel

We loved this hotel. It bright spacious and clean. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We stayed for two weeks during Hurricane Milton. During which the hotel put in buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in one of their conference rooms, also opening another room as an entertainment room for families. They allowed families and their pets to stay with their pets. It was a bit like Crufts for me, although I do hope their homes were safe for their return. We visited the shop daily to get a coffee and top up on food snacks. We absolutely loved dark water tavern for its tapas meals and cocktails. It is not cheap but totally worth a visit. Our room was on the 7th floor and was comfortable and very clean, with a sink and separate toilet with shower over the bath. The large tv provided us with many hours of wonderful films to watch during our downtime. We used the boat most days to reach the parks or used the garden path ( only takes 10 minutes to reach Citywalk). Definitely a hotel we will return to. We gave a great holiday!

    Great hotel

Check-in was very quick and easy, and the rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable too and the cleaners came in everyday when we were out. A couple issues would be that the shampoo and conditioner weren’t being refilled throughout our stay, and the room didn’t have any soap. We checked with friends and they didn’t have soap either. Also, the curtains wouldn’t fully shut, so in the early morning, some light would be coming in which would wake us up which was a little annoying. For breakfast, we went to the buffet for the first morning and it was very expensive for what we got. For a quick meal, I recommend the Dutch Trading Co because it’s a lot cheaper. The water taxis to the park are so frequent and the drivers were so nice.

Close to the parks, but thin walls

This is a good hotel in proximity to the city walk and universal parks, but in all my years of traveling I have never stayed at a hotel with thinner walls. You can hear house keeping prompt at 6am each morning and your neighbors clearly through the walls. 4 out of 5 days I was abruptly awoken to screaming children or house keeping. If you plan on sleeping past 6am, I highly suggest booking somewhere else to stay, especially considering the price. When I return for my next trip here, I will not be staying at Sapphire Falls.

    Another fabulous stay

Enjoyed another wonderful stay here in the lovely Sapphire Suite as part of 23 nights along with some nights at RP too. The lagoon view is our favourite and seeing that sunrise every morning is perfect. The hotel is incredible, it is immaculately clean throughout and that beautiful lobby smell as you enter is divine. Rooms are lovely, beds and pillows are very comfortable and housekeeping is very good here. We needed extra towels one day and a quick call to star services meant they were with us within 15 minutes. Staff are lovely, incredibly helpful and big thanks to Raphael Ferreira and Justin Valentine along with Marian and Andrea again for making our stay so extra special. The onsite restaurants are all amazing, Strong Water is unmissable and the best bar/restaurant in the whole of Orlando, Amatista is perfect for breakfast lunch or dinner and Dutch Trading has some lovely offerings if you did want a quick snack. We didn`t try the pool bar this time but it is recommended. The pool is also lovely, and there are plenty of seats and the fire pit is always nice in the evenings. The boats to Citywalk are very regular indeed and it`s not too long a walk too, very pretty walking path which takes you to the side of Margaritaville with it`s own security point to save time. We cannot recommend Sapphire Falls highly enough for a break away, it has everything you could need.

New corporate weed (Pot) scented hallway on second floor

If you enjoy the nice smell of Pot while walking down a cold hallway to get your room this is the hotel for you. Most hotels have their signature scent in hallways and common areas. This hotel has the aroma of Pot! If they had any employees that actually cared they would have found the room that was smoking weed and removed the occupants and cleaned the smell from the hallway and room. You have to wonder about safety in a place that disregards or takes a blind eye to illegal drug activity in their rooms. It is still illegal in the State of Florida. In addition to their new corporate scent described above all the common areas and restaurants were uncomfortably cold. You needed a jacket in order to dine for dinner. I used their new online check-in and requested a higher floor room. Instead I was provided with a basement room floor two which is two floors below the lobby. Since we checked in at 9pm I’m guessing that others complained about the new corporate scent of weed in the hallway and were probably given my room on a higher floor. One and done for me at this hotel!
