Even the least expensive universal resort is better

Worst hotel of the Universal Resorts we have stayed at and we have stayed at all of them, including the 3 new ones. Room was dark and dismal, bed creaked when sat on, electrical unit outside of small window, far from everything, had to take 2 different elevators to get to the boat dock. The Mgmt didnt care about our concern when they messaged to check on how our visit was going. We had booked the room on their website with our season passholder rate for our 30th Anniversary, only thing I asked for was a higher room close to an elevator, we didn't even get 1 of the 2. Don't ever stay in room 2272, though it might be the least used room in the hotel and it is very quiet because no one wants to be in that area of the hotel so I guess it has some pros. Customer service is non existent in this hotel, so surprising for a Loews property. This trip we stayed at 4 different properties and 3 were top notch like always!

    I don't recommend

the service at this hotel was horrible. the front desk text program doesn't work. i would call my car and it would never be there when i got down to the front. they barely cleaned our room if AT ALL each day. they left one of our kids bed stripped with no sheets and we found this out at midnight when we got back to the hotel. they left bowls of half eaten cereal in the room like it's not garbage. we went days without soap in the shower even after specifically asking for it. they sold us tickets to a broken EPIC park. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Also, i almost forgot to add that there was a huge panel on the wall that was broken and our kids could go into the wall which led to a utility closet and the lights in that room didn't work. if customer service actually reads this, i have pictures and i have sent them to the front desk as well.

Solid Choice for a Universal Hotel

My wife and I, and our two boys (8 and 11) stayed here for two nights in late February and overall, really enjoyed it. We stayed in a standard two queen room which was fine. Here’s a couple pros and cons of the resort I made note of: Pros: -Elevators were super fast, never had to wait more than a few seconds. -Pool was very large, clean and the slide was good. Our kids loved the pool. -February is considered low season so the Cabana rental was only $100 for the day compared to $300. It’s a fantastic value if it’s a warm day because you get it from 10am - 10pm. We were there for Super Bowl Sunday and this worked out amazing. The Cabana comes with 20 cans of pop (you can swap out ones you don’t like for ones you do) and a large fruit platter. -All the hotel staff were so nice. It really stood out. Cons -There was no microwave in the room which I found disappointing. Maybe a different room type may have one but our standard room did not. -The in-room fridge was very very small and wouldn’t fit much. In contrast, we stayed in a family room at Cabana Bay and the fridge there was huge. It fit a full size pizza box no problem for reference. -There was only one garbage in our whole room and it was in the bathroom. Like any hotel stay, we found good and bad but overall it went really well and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this hotel!

    Amazing Staff!!

Excellent service from front desk Valerie. She made sure that we’re satisfied with our room , gave us the pool view room and that so spacious for the 3 of us . This is our 3x stay and we’re already planning our future stay again and again . The lobby is clean and all the staff loves to greet everyone with smile and always try to give a hand for anything . Also they offers the water taxi , theme parks etc. Very convenient and comfortable stay !

    Beautiful Resort, Great Staff

I went up for a short trip to Universal for Mardi Gras. I stayed at the beautiful Sapphire Falls Resort for 3 nights. I was welcomed on arrival by two lovely young ladies at the desk named Star and Noel. They were so nice and welcoming. They made sure I had all information I needed to have a wonderful time during my stay. Sapphire Falls is a beautiful Resort with the kindest Staff. You receive a text after checking in welcoming you. This opens a link of communication between you and the staff. They will check in to see how your stay is going . This is also a way for you to ask for any additional things you might need during your stay. The rooms are spotless and you have all the needed toiletries provided in your bathroom to make sure your stay is complete. If you need any additional items a simple text to the staff and you will have what you need. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The linens and towels are nice and soft. There are plenty of onsite food choices. I had a meal at the Amistista Cookhouse restaurant and it was wonderful. The food and service were fantastic. There is a nice large pool with slide. A workout room and all the needed amenities to make your stay a great one. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. I have stayed here many times and I have never been disappointed. Thank you to all the staff for another great stay at the beautiful Sapphire Falls Resort. I will be back.
