STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family-oriented environment, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:

  • All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
  • In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

    Iberostar is a Star!

    Our third visit to this great resort. We have been to many #Sandals resorts. Iberostar Grand beats them all, in terms of food quality, choices and premium beverages. The STAFF!! friendly and always accommodating.

    I stayed March 15 to 19. The grounds were well maintained and mostly the entire staff was outstanding. The good, the food and drinks were plentiful the staff was friendly and could be found everywhere through the resort. Most of the entertainment and Casino were shut down during our stay so what I did see was good. The bad, I’m still waiting to meet my Butler from check in. The room was ocean front with a great view. The maintenance people when painting the ceiling in the bathroom had paint on everything, walls floors ect. The ceiling had mold and the hot water didn’t work on one of the sinks. They diffidently need a better exterminator because I found bugs every night in the room. The staff and security must have deal with the guys who walk up and down the beach selling weed all day because nobody stopped then from 7 am till 5 pm. Also I’ve never been to a resort where they let people smoke weed at the swim up bar in the family resort area with children near bye. I’m not even going to complain about the push for the star rewards program, but don’t tell me the girl was going to get fired because we canceled the breakfast I sent this same review last week to iberostar directly but they never responded, so I suggest you try secrets and sandals In Montego Bay I found I enjoyed my stay there better. I tried this resort because a made serval trips to the iberostar grand in the Dominican and had a great time at that resort

    Third vacation at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall

    We stayed at Iberostar Grand Rose Hall for our third time March 7 – 17, 2020. With all the talk of salmonella, I was a bit nervous eating at the resort but we didn’t experience any food issues during our stay at all. With Covid 19, they made us sanitize our hands prior to eating at the buffets. I even witnessed a chef washing their hands before handling food and cooking for us at Port Marina. The staff as usual went above and beyond making our stay fun and pleasant. Our room was spotless every day and night. Our butlers O’Neil and Andre made sure we had everything we possibly could need in our room and ensured we had a late check out since our flight was later in the day. Bartenders, Gary, Powell, Jerry were fun as usual, made delicious drinks and remembered us from previous years! Mark and Akeem from the gym, you both are awesome! Vanessa, Mystique, Lisa, Strawberry, Coco, Ricky D, Smiley and CC, you make our stay so much fun! You all are the reason we return each year. Thank you again to everyone for all you do! You work long days and always have a smile on your faces! We look forward to seeing everyone when we return on our next trip!

    Amazing Annual Vacation

    This is our fifth visit to Jamaica - once at the Suites and the last four times at The Grand. We have been vacationing here for March Break since 2015 and have never been disappointed. This is a beautiful property, and a beautiful resort. Having said that, a building is just a building. What makes us return every year is the amazing staff at this resort who bring love and happiness to work with them every day and make you feel so welcome. The many kindnesses we have received in five years are innumerable. I would like to say special thanks to the following people: Orthneil and Winston at the front desk for all of their consideration and help in getting this year’s vacation off to a great start. Chevonnie from Guest Relations. Our butlers - Assani, Reynaldo and Martn - who helped to make the stay that much more enjoyable. The amazing staff in the buffets and dining rooms! Thank you so much Judy, Lisa, Yanique, Novalee, Jacquie, Oushane, Ricardo & Omar. These people deserve so much gratitude for outstanding service and for just being all around wonderful. So pleasant and helpful always! If I have forgotten anyone, my sincere apologies. Chadwick who helped us out with our baggage. Keon at the pool bar for service above and beyond! Kerry whose kindnesses and friendliness made a great vacation that much greater. :) Chefs Charley, Benjamin, and Patmar who went to great lengths (as always) to ensure that my father had an incredible array of delicious gluten-free options. Given that he has Celiac disease, that is something for which we are all so grateful. Also Navada for going out of his way too to provide excellent food options for us. The ladies at the Spa who are the most talented masseuses I have ever met. Thank you Mitzei, Sasha, Beverly, Hodecia, & Stacy Ann. As always, the food was amazing and even though these were unusual circumstances this March with Covid virus decimating the number of guests that were there, we still received top notch service and great food. My hats off to the staff and Iberostar organization for being able to do this. The extra consideration and attention given to my father’s dietary needs makes me so very grateful. Any resort or hotel can have circumstances which may be problematic for guests on occasion, but my experience with The Grand is that they do everything in their power to make sure your issues are dealt with promptly, courteously and effectively. I have recommended a stay at this property many times in the last six years and do not hesitate to do so again. We all look forward to our week at The Grand every March, and we will be returning again in 2021! Again, thank you to the amazing staff who all make this such a grand occasion for us every single year!

    My 60th birthday

    It was truly the best resort we have ever been fortunate enough to visit. I was wowed by the experience. The food was so amazing i gained 10 lbs in 7 days even with being on the go non stop. Golfing was amazing we did Cinimon Hill and Rose Hall. Both were amazing but Tony at Cinomon Hill was an amazing caddie. Improved my game 10 strokes. Highly recommend the rose pedal baths with champagne for a romantic touch.
