Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings traveling in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
· The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
· In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
Spring Break Groups Policy - Students/youth are considered between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy for all bookings traveling March-April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
· Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
· Upon check-in, each group will be required to leave a refundable cash deposit per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

I took 20 employees to the Grand March 1st. Our VP goes every year and recommended this for a company trip and boy am I happy we went. The resort is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food is good. We couldn’t of asked for better weather or a better trip. I think everyone agreed they would be going back.
We have been to the Grand Paraiso several times. For many good reasons we returned again in February 2020 for three weeks. The staff continue to demonstrate extraordinary quality and consistency of service. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the buffet restaurants, especially the outstanding service from the chefs in the lunch buffet, and the supervisors, the waiters and the hostesses all provided warm, elegant and friendly service through breakfast, lunch and dinner. We appreciate all the staff efforts, practically the chef Octavio with fluent English and attentive service, the supervisors Heriberto and Alfredo with professional style and kindness services, the hostess America who is especially very professional and friendly, with excellent English and provided service with grace, she even taught us Spanish every day, once she noticed we were enthusiastic about practising Spanish. She could be a future star in the Iberostar hotel. Many thanks to our butlers, Mauro and Mariana, who provided us with superior service. They always checked our wish list and wrote down every single request and handled all the issues in detail and always followed up promptly. Other than the great service, we also enjoyed the activities from the entertainment staff, especially many thanks to the Spanish class teacher Tsunami, who was very patient and taught me a lot Spanish expressions and grammar. Finally, the lunch buffet improved, with more selections and better quality than the previous year.
Give it a second chance
I spent 6 nights at the Grand from March 18 to March 24. I was pick up at the Cancun Airport by Amstar ( very good company and would recommend them) and dropped off at the Grand. At reception I upgraded to superior ocean front. I was greeted by my butler Marcelo who stock my mini bar the way I wanted it. I was planning to have dinner at the buffet, but it was closed due to the virus and only 20% occupancy at the hotel. I dinner at the Caribbean gill and was able to get a reservation. It was not a good meal at all my ribeye steak was good the way I like it cooked but half of it was like eating a shoe and no lobster to be found. Service was also very spotty. The resort seemed dysfunctional . This was not a good way to start an expensive vacation. The next morning I spoke with Marcelo and Daniel and advised them of my dissatisfaction. They told me they would fix my issues. The next day during lunch at the buffet. Things started to turn around. This was a very good lunch (beef Osso Buco). Then Public relations manager Laura Faviel came and sat down to discuss my dissatisfaction. Advised Laura that I had stayed at the Grand in Jamaica and it was not run like this resort. Laura was very understanding and professional. Laura said to me she would make things right for me. My meals were getting better by the day and I was now happy to be at the Grand. The hotel and grounds are so beautiful along with the pools and beach. Rooms are very nice also. During the end of my trip the hotel was just at 8% occupancy and had to move to the sister hotel next store for the last two nights due to the virus. The staff at the Grand are just that Grand. I would like to thank ( butler) Daniel and ( concierges) Carolina and Angelica for their caring and understanding to make things right for me. But I would really like a great shout out to Marcelo who really look after me. And of course Laura who went the extra mile to make sure I was look after. Iberostar should not loose both Marcelo and Laura as I have never come across hotel staff like them in my travels. I will return next year to give Iberostar a second chance
Having returned to the hotel for our eighth visit ,stay from the 6th-18th March 2020 this hotel is everything we could ask for. We had stayed at variuos Sandels and Beaches resorts along with Heritage resorts . This hotel is perfect for ourselves. The most important people that make the difference is the stay and the way they look after you . Special mention to Daniel at the lobby bar always knows your drink and name and always has a nice word ans smile. Victor top concierge and a top man as well known him for over eight years . The maid service also deserve a mention sorry dont know her name but our room was cleaned everyday and was spotless. The guys at the golf course where so nice and looked after me and made our party feel special. The hotel has everything great places to eat ,food is impeccable at the Ala carte restaurants, buffet at lunch time always has plenty to choose from, breakfast has everything you could ask for and always served with a smile and a chat. The room we stayed in was 7022 could not find a fault ,beach was spotless , plenty of sunbeds at both beech and pools . Bar staff and the pool where fantastic again always smiling and nothing any trouble for them to do. Lobby bar has entertainment at night which is very good. Hotel is spotless. We traveled as a party of six adults . I must thank everyone at the hotel for making this another memorable holiday ,we are already booking again for next year. Thanks Again
A Dream Come True
This resort is everything it claims to be and more. Pure paradise. This is my second time staying here and it will not be my last. The food, the drinks, the amenities, the staff all were superb. I want to recognize my concierge Denisee, my butler, Fernando, my Star Friend Orlando and especially Aaron GIGiGi. Thank you Iberostar and hope to see you again very soon!
