Great views, promising amenities - bad overall value.
We went to celebrate a friends birthday. At $572/night, this was a pricey stay as I was unable to redeem any points for the stay. Expectations were heightened due to the rate. Upon check-in, we requested a room close to our friend's, but they were unable to accommodate. Instead, we were given a room overlooking a courtyard under construction. My friends were staying on points, we were not. As we settled into the room, we encountered a leaking shower, faulty light switch and non-responsive keypad on the safe. Additionally, due to Covid protocols were were informed there wouldn't be full housekeeping service because we were only staying for 3 nights. Only trash clean-up and replacement of towels would be done. However, we had no housekeeping service at all. Additionally, breakfast service as on-site restaurants was stopped at 10:30 every morning with no brunch option. All of these things made what was already a pretty shaky value proposition much worse.
We chose this location to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint! Gorgeous views, pools, rooms, spa. Daily breakfast was delicious, live music most nights, customer service top notch. We will definitely be back!
Great place for a formal business conference. Everything from checking in, meals and social events, conference meeting rooms, related technology and check out was phenomenal. I will definitely look forward to future opportunities to utilize this resort and hopefully be able to try out the golf course 👍🏻
Amazing customer service
The customer service was above and beyond. It was great to have people working there who were friendly and engaging. The grounds were well kept and the rooms were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff
Much busier than I expected during our normally ultra-quiet July visit. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Grounds are well maintained. Our room had a lovely mountain view (with a huge balcony) and was quite spacious. Bathroom was well laid out but as usual at hotels, the lighting could have been better. I have yet to find any Hyatt bed comfortable and this was no different - very hard mattress and pillows weren't any good either. Went to the pool one afternoon and it was very busy but we were still able to find a quiet, shady area to hang out. I can't imagine how crazy it gets during the busy season. At the time of our stay, food options were extremely limited with no room service and several places closing early so we never ate on the property. Great use of Hyatt points. We would likely stay here again.
