It was our first visit to Aruba.
Beautiful grounds, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds and great pools and beach area. Location is ideal too. We loved our time here. We are a family of four with a 16-year-old and a 20-year-old college kid. The kids'/family pool area was overwhelming for us, but it's great if you have younger kids. The slide was a blast. We were thrilled to find the adult pool and relaxed there throughout each day. Food was awesome. We ate at the Ruinas del Mar restaurant, and the food was good and not expensive either. The pool deck food and drinks were good, and they had something for everyone. There are issues at the beach. The beach is amazing, but the Palapas, Umbrellas, and chair reservation system are a nightmare. You have to get up at 5:30 to be down at the beach shack by 6 to wait in line for an hour to get a chance at getting a palapa or umbrella for the day. The shack opens at seven, and each day, there was a huge line by 6:30. I only discovered this by chance as I was walking by the first morning around 6:15. NOT my idea of a relaxing vacation at all. For this simple reason, we would forego coming back to this Hyatt. Having to go through this process each morning simply to have shade and chairs on the beach in front of the hotel where you are staying is insane. If you are a pool person and don't like being on the beach all day, this is a non-issue for you. I am aware that the government completely changed the reservation system for palapas this year. I understand that the Hyatt is trying to do their best with the crazy new palapa reservation system. Overall, we loved our time here, and the amenities were great, but the hassle of the beach was a super turnoff.

Nice vacation
Very nice hotel as usual from Hyatt. Real luxury experience with nice amenities. Beach was very clean and highly organized. Rooms clean and you could as for that up to twice a day. Food was so fresh and we loved the juice bar by the beach and the nice kids club on the first floor kids loved it and made nice friends.

beautiful resort- just not my vibe
Lots of young kids! I have older kids, but damn this was a lot! Prepare to be splashed and to hear a lot of crying! People were generally nice, but I didn't get the vibe that the staff really liked us being there. I'd say about 25% of the staff was kind of looking at us like they hated us. Just my vibe...........
