Wonderful stay in Nashville
First, the location is great. The best thing about our stay was interacting with the hotel staff. The all treated my partner and I like old friends and It was obvious that they all wanted us to have a great experience. Oh yeah, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is well appointed and very stylish and I'm sure would be appealing to a broad range of guests. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there when I return to Nashville.
I recommend this hotel whole downtown Nashville! Only 2 blocks over to Broadway. Walking distance to everything! The staff was amazing and friendly. We stayed in a king room with balcony and thought it was wonderful!
first time visit
First time in Nashville and my friend picked this hotel. It is just a few blocks from all of the bars and the arena. I would recommend staying here because of location and price. It was also very clean but I did see signs of age in the hotel. There was rust on the bottom of the bathroom door and you could tell it needed minor touchup in a few places because of age. But it was almost $100 cheaper than anything else around. I will be going back to Nashville and I will stay there again.
We came as a group of 4 girls a few days after the tornado hit and was concerned about whether to cancel or not. We attempted to call the hotel to see if the hotel was still operating but the phone lines were. Called the corporate headquarters as well as the 3rd party book site who were unhelpful and unreliable with their information. Finally, we called the other Holiday Inn Vanderbilt who were helpful in saying that the hotel was still open and operating so we took the chance and we were pleased with the service. Front desk staff was very welcoming. Although our rooms were not yet ready, our luggage was held so that we could go out to get a quick bite. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and so was the appetizers during the reception hour. Would definitely come again.
Great from start to finish!
From the time we checked in until the time we checked out 4 days later, we had a perfect stay. We were greeted by Alexis T. when we first arrived at 9:00 a.m. and even though our rooms weren't available that early, she provided PERFECT customer service. She offered to hold our luggage for us so we could begin to explore downtown.....she did it with a smile and could not have been more welcoming. She also told us that breakfast was still being served and if we would like to partake to please do so. She set the bar very high and is a perfect "face"for the hotel! Our rooms were very clean at check in but we did not ask for our rooms to be cleaned after that. We only asked for clean towels and the housekeeping staff were gracious in giving us the amount we requested. We enjoyed the evening reception (provided 7 nights a week/4:00-7:00 p.m.)held in the lobby one evening. That night they had complimentary chicken wings, chips with artichoke dip and cubed cheese......all hot and very tasty! There was also an acoustic guitar player in the lobby providing very nice music (low volume). The morning breakfast was very well presented as well.....one morning they ran out of bacon - no big deal! This hotel is located a 10 minute walk from all the action on Broadway. Super location! I would 100% stay and recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a hotel while visiting downtown Nashville!
