Never again. The place needs a lot of renovation! The food isn't bad but when u call room service, they let you feel like you are a bother. The one in trelawny is much better. There is mold in the room, water lifting up paint all over furniture dirty and damaged. Roach eggs were in the corner. Didn't get much help. And to top it off, light went away the following morning after my first night from 10.30am to after 2pm Not unless there is renovation I would recommend this place!

NEVER AGAIN!
What a disappointing experience!! we chose this hotel specifically because it was a Marriott and we thought the standards would be up to par. We upgraded to the Diamond Club And what a waste of money. The butlers, personally, are very kind, but they have to ask management for every request you have, with “I will get back to you”. They tell you they have premium liquor, but it’s only available at the diamond club pool bar and and the diamond club lobby bar, which both have have very limited hours. If you go anywhere else in the resort, you will not have any premium liquor. Our room phone or TV did not work and we told them about it early on. What if we had a medical emergency? hmm use my cell phone….to call where? no instructions! I agree with other reviews that if you have any issues and you talk to management, even on site, they are very unresponsive and disappointing! We have even contacted the GM multiple times and no no response! We then contacted the Marriott and that was disappointing. We travel for pleasure about every 3 months to Marriotts, Hiltons, Ritz Carltins.

Jovanne class !
Jovanne Aqua class was done at the pool and I had fun and the overall experience was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of that class and I will be back for another class soon thanks much and the time of the class was at 11:30 am and everyone was having fun as it should be the music was good as well.

Rude staff and very poor customer service
The hotel itself is ideally located - the beach is on the doorstep and it is beautiful. We had a great holiday in Jamaica and the island is beautiful but the staff really need customer service training. The rooms are good and cleaned regularly. The housekeeping can be varied in timings from 7am to 6pm at night, which is awkward when you are wanting to enter the room at the end of the day and the housekeepers also (very bluntly) request tipping all the time. Also there is a clear division of the royalton Negril guests, diamond club guests and the hideaway guests - roylaton guests are all penned in one area and you can’t even walk around many areas of the resort. Yes, people have paid extra but all the guests have paid a lot of money to visit this hotel and should be treated equally. Royalton guests pool - Dips, is possibly one of the dirtiest pool areas I have seen. Nothing is cleaned properly. Sticking drink spills are still there days later and spilt cocktail float around the pool Water for days. They also have a food truck and a jerk chicken stand by the pool. There is nowhere to sit and eat in the shade and nowhere to place used plates. This has an impact on the birds that eating off used food plates and drop chicken all around the pool area- no staff clean it up or chase away the birds. The maintenance staff for the pool area were also having an open arguments in front of guests - telling each other to f##k you man and one couple (staff) having a domestic in front of stuff. There is also not enough cushions for the loungers. On many occasions when ordering a drink, you are met with the rudest staff. We had incidents of being ignored after ordering a drink and left standing there for a while, until you have to order again. We also had staff ignoring a whole queue of people for one specific guest - when questioned about the queue the staff then refused to make drinks for the airing guests. Asa result, the Customer service at this hotel Is possibly one of the worst I have ever experienced. This poor and consistent service was that bad that we stopped asking for certain drinks at Dips pool bar. The bar staff always serve customers who are holding out dollar bills first, the refuse to give you the cocktail menu because they can’t be bothered making the cocktails. The bar staff were witnessed filling glasses with alcohol and drinking during their shift. This also happened at scoops the coffee shop - stating the could not make a specific drink because they also didn’t have the ingredients. Finally, I would not recommend this hotel due to this extremely poor staff service and attitude to guests at this hotel.

Pilates Royalton Negril
Pilates at Royalton Negril with Alpha was totally worth it. It was the best start to my morning. His instructions were super easy to follow and totally recommend it! The resort and the staff are amazing, my family and I had an amazing spring break here in Jamaica!
