Potential Theft
At check-out, I was not informed about a refund I was owed, totaling $150. The manager, Ray Kent, handled my check-out. A week later, I still had not received the refund. When I called the hotel to follow up, an employee told me that there was no card on file matching the one I used to make the reservation. Instead, she provided the last four digits of a card I do not recognize and have never used. I asked her to contact the manager who assisted me, and he told her to inform me that he would call me the next day. I did not agree to wait and decided to come in person. To make matters worse, I am an Aimbridge employee, and I consider this a serious issue—potentially theft—since I never received the money. I believe the manager may have entered someone else’s card information to collect my refund.

A Good Night's Rest
Stayed here before embarking on my first cruise. It was WONDERFUL! The suite was very spacious, big enough for 4 adults and 2 children (10 & 15). We were able to relax and get a good night slept before driving only 10 minutes to the port parking deck to embark on the cruise. The breakfast was very good and filling for the long embarkment process. Everything about this place was a 10/10.

Beautiful NOLA Historic Hotel!
Lovely historic hotel convenient to the convention center and surrounding sites. Cierra at the front desk was wonderful and helpful! Reggie, Front Desk Manager, has trained his team very well. We enjoyed our beautiful Premier King Suite (wanted to move in permanently!!) ;-) It was quiet, spacious and beautifully appointed! The breakfast staff were diligent, though they had a hard time keeping up with the crowds. Suggestion for breakfast staff: Please have a non-dairy substitute for coffee like oat milk or almond milk. All the Hilton properties we have stayed at in recent stays have this now. Our housekeeping staff was excellent, and when we needed anything, blankets, etc., they were fast and efficient!! Lee in account management was helpful with some issues with our bill. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back to see everyone in the near future!!

A great place to stay when visiting New Orleans
There is really only positive things to say about this hotel. It is in a solid location, right across from the convention center. It is an easy walk to the river walk outlets (0.5 miles). Canal street is only about 0.75 miles away, and the WWII museum is only 0.4 miles away. The room was big and clean, not much of a view, but that is okay! The ladies at the front desk were incredibly polite and helpful. They do not offer an airport shuttle, but there is normally a taxi or two waiting out front if you need a ride. The only slight negative, is like other reviews had said, the walls are paper thin. I’m pretty sure we could hear everyone talk and open/close doors on our side of the building every night. Overall though, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Not my favorite stay
The hotel location is great if you are going to be attending a conference or event at the convention center, but other than that, I was not impressed with this hotel. As soon as I got off the elevator on my floor I was met with a strange smell that lingered all three days of my stay. The walls in my room had multiple areas with paint missing (it looked like furniture was moved and scraped the paint off the walls) and the shower pressure was not good. I went down for breakfast at 8am and there was barely any food left (breakfast was still open for an hour). Unfortunately, would not choose to stay at this location again.
