Great, clean place to stay!
Spent just a night here, but it was a great day. Didn’t have any interaction with the staff with using Hilton’s digital key feature (which I love by the way), but the hotel was spotless from the lobby to the room to the bathroom. Felt very safe and comfortable here. Bed was very relaxing and very nice, hot shower. Would recommend and will stay again if in the area!
Perfect for our stay
We had to be in Cleveland for a funeral. We had no problem getting a reasonably priced room here, on short notice. I opted for a king room, which was on the second floor. Check in was quick and easy, thanks to Ashley at the front desk. At the elevator, there was an antibacterial wipes dispenser as well as an antibacterial gel dispenser. Great for protected button pushing. While our room was near the elevators, there was no discernible noise. Bed was very comfortable. We did not use the comforter/bedspread, but there was a top sheet and a bottom sheet. We brought our own pillows. Room was spacious, and spotless, as was the bathroom. I have two things to nitpick: I am not a small person, as I have a 38" waist. The shower, even with the bowed out shower curtain, was a little tight. Ok, maybe that's on me! Also, why only have a vent instead of an exhaust fan? But, if you've read my other reviews, you know that shower water temperature and pressure are my hot spots, and these were excellent here. At any rate, due to the Covid, the free breakfast is not a buffet. You place an order the night before, and it's bagged and ready to pick up during breakfast time. They didn't get our orders perfect every time, but close enough. Selection was good enough, and we didn't go hungry. One other thing--I'm pretty sure our room had its own heat and air. We had our own thermostat, and the vent was right next to a cut-in in the room. We felt secure and confident in the Hilton cleaning protocol.
Great staff, could include some more amenities
The hotel was clean and spacious. The staff was wonderful. They allowed me to keep ice packs in their kitchen freezer without hesitation. Great location. Walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. The only thing missing was a microwave in each room. I would stay here again when back in the area for business.
From check-in to check-out, you will feel warmly welcomed and thanked for staying here. ALWAYS! The front desk staff is responsive to any concerns or requests. I have never had problems of note at this property. The rooms are very nice; and will, in a couple of years, need renovation. But, for the present, the Hampton offers an oasis of sorts for travelers needing respite from meetings or the road.
Will not return
I spent a couple days at the Beachwood Hampton Inn. The service was friendly and efficient, but my room was not entirely clean. I had to wipe down the walls in the bathroom. The shower head made a terribly screeching noise when the water was turned on and the room refrigerator did not work. Will not return.
