    RIght near everything!

This hotel was located next to everything. We did not have to move our car. It is in downtown, but all the restaurants, the tours, the breweries and the shops. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The pool is small. The breakfast, due to Covid, is cold only, which was not great. Coffee all day was a nice touch. The staff were friendly. I recommend this place

    Nice hotel. Good location

Just came back from spending 4 nights at this hotel. Great location, one block from ferry. Hotel is very modern and clean. Staff was friendly and responsive. As an honors member I was given an upgrade to a nicer room. They have COVID measures in place. You have to request a room cleaning. We chose not to have our room cleaned during our stay. They were very responsive when we needed towels etc. the hotel is about two blocks from old port. An easy walk to everything. The only thing I think that they could improve upon is their breakfast. If I can touch the coffee pot and sugar etc, why can’t they serve some hot food options. Although I’m not diabetic, I try to eat like I am. There are no low carb option. Granola bars, muffins, yogurt and cereal. Even if they offered hard boiled eggs or individually wrapped sandwiches. Still a great stay.

    Modern Comfort & Helpful Staff

I only stayed for one night on my recent trip to Maine. After staying in a historical B&B in Nantucket, I really appreciate the modern comfort and the spacious room here. The front desk lady upgraded me to a room with better water view. I got a full moon right from my window that night. The hotel is close to water front and many restaurants. It's a good location. The valet parking guys were all very helpful and accommodating. I told them I needed to get out for sunrise. They parked my car near the front entrance so I could get out easily. The only letdown was the breakfast. Because of the pandemic, the breakfast was grab and go style. But even for Grab and go, it could have been better.

    Overall fine?

No real problems, except we booked a “king study” and were checked into a two queen room with no explanation. They moved us to a king room and refunded the difference, but it was a little off putting. Room was clean, no tub, bad view of back of restaurant if you’re on the “city” view side. great location tho, perfect for exploring downtown area on foot. Not sure any hotel room like this is worth $200/night, but relatively speaking this was a fine experience.

An excellent stay, with wonderful staff. Highly recommend!

The customer service that this Hilton-affiliated hotel provides is first class. The staff- from the front desk reception-I feel terrible but I forgot her name- the very kind lady with short brown hair (a bob cut), tallish, thin, usually works during the afternoon between the 12-6/7ish hour was wonderful. She remembered my name the day after I checked in(when I spoke to her only for a few minutes) and greeted me by name when I walked in the door after dinner. She also handled many other guests very well To management- please give her a raise! The room was clean, huge, and I had a fridge and a microwave in my room which was nice. I am an idiot and left clothes hanging in my closet, and Emily, the Director of Rooms, returned my call and is shipping my dresses back to my house, provided a tracking number via email. I had an issue with the laundry room and the Asian/POC gentleman who does maintenance was nice enough to assist me immediately with the machine that was not working by providing quarters and extra detergent. An excellent 6 day stay in Portland; it’s my first choice when I return again!
