Staff made this trip worth it all!
I was in town with my two young sons to attend appointments at Lurie Children's Hospital. We felt welcomed the second we walked through the door. Assistant General Manager Violet greeted us and promptly checked us in. Despite recent Covid-19 restrictions, Violet and her staff went above and beyond to be sure we felt at home and at ease. The entire facility was spotless and offered us peace of mind. I'd like to personally thank DuWayne, Lynette and Tangela for taking that extra step to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Their actions made a necessary stay feel more like a welcomed vacation.

Lynette and Alejandro are always so friendly, and we look forward to seeing them each time we come back. They make us feel well taken care of. We have stayed here several times this year, and have had a good experience each stay.
I often stayed at Hampton Inn hotels and was always satisfied with the service provided, but this hotel broke my trust. The information on the website was incorrect when I booked. In particular, breakfast and pool work, and room cleaning. I understand that this is due to the pandemic, but this is incorrect information on the site and none of the management does not correct it or deliberately does it. The room at the check-in was dirty, smelled like tobacco. The towels were dirty with orange stains. When I asked for the towels to be replaced, they were brought to me after 24 hours when I called again. The dirty towels were not picked up by any of the employees even after I put them in the bag in the hallway. There were no dishes in the room, not even water glasses. When I asked for the glasses, they turned me down because of the pandemic. As a result, I went to the store and bought disposable glasses. There were also big black bugs crawling in the room. For four nights at this hotel, I paid almost $600 and for what? I will never stay at the Hampton Inn again, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
Lynette Harris was an outstanding greeter and made this trip even more enjoyable!
I'm a college student who had taken a trip out recently, and there was a lobby greeter named Lynette Harris who was able to make trip all the more enjoyable! From spots to go in the city, advice for quiet spots for my classes, or even just a laugh when needed! She is an amazing employee and an even more amazing person! Will definitely be coming back here to this hotel just to see her again!
Great location and views!
We stayed here for 3 nights on our trip to Chicago and we loved the location! Great for walking or biking. Friendly front desk staff and clean areas. Just keep in mind that they don’t have any breakfast or parking because of COVID. They don’t go in every day for normal service so we had to request new towels and they had forgotten one day .. we came back to the room late at night and they told us they don’t have housekeeping at that time ! Ugh. They don’t have any razors available either because they aren’t individually wrapped so that is kind of an inconvenience. If we are still paying the normal rate of the room we should have access to everything. Not to mention we COULDN'T leave our luggage in the lobby after we checked out !! Very upsetting and wish we knew this earlier. Keep this in mind, otherwise great experience and affordable price.
