Once again we had the most amazing time! We feel like family when we get here! Daniel was our concierge for the 5th time and we always request him! He is so attentive and amazing to us and our kids! Alexis and Ivan at the pool are amazing! Made sure our food was prepared without gluten and dairy and always brought our kids what they needed!! Ricardo and Irving at the swim up bar made our drinks just the way we like them!! Karla at kids club is an angel and our kids adore her! She makes our kids feel so loved and safe! She has become family to us. We absolutely love coming here as a family!!!

Apr 21, 2025Another Great Experience with the Staff and Resort
Wonderful and relaxing trip. Just the three of us (husband and 13 year old son) this time. We sat in Arturo’s section by the pool and he took spectacular care of us the whole time. Claudia was our concierge and arranged all the dinners exactly as we wanted, made sure we had late check out and arranged golf as well - and even got us an “emergency” food delivery to arrive right after we got back from golf with a starving 13 year old in tow. The owners and managers of this resort set a culture of care for their guests that you can feel in everyone that you meet that works there. EVERY staff person you meet will go out of their way to help you - they will literally stop what they are doing and get other staff involved to help. A good example was me just trying to find some white vinegar to take on our excursion in case my son got stung by a jellyfish (which happened last summer in a different ocean but it made an impression on my kid and we didn’t have anything to treat the sting with us. White vinegar helps in some cases and I was trying to lower his fear by demonstrating we had stuff with us in case it happened again and of course it did not). So I had a little empty plastic scope bottle and was just trying to find some - and sure enough in under 3 minutes, there were 5 people in the Azul restaurant working to help find some for me. The employees are just so kind and invested in their guests’ comfort. After staying at the PV property as well, I have to assume it’s the management at the top because it’s noticeable everywhere you go in both resorts. For the tired moms who want someone to take care of THEM, this is your spot.

The Best Resort We've Ever Experienced!
This was our first time at Grand Velas Cabo and we will absolutely return (or try one of their other properties in Mexico). Simply put this was hands down the best resort we've ever experienced. The food was amazing (how often do you say that about an all-inclusive?) and every night we had amazing dinners, breakfasts were amazing and the pool offerings were just right. The drinks were delicious and the service was the best we've experienced at a family friendly resort. I think the thing that really made us love this place was how well they took care of our kiddos. We have a 6 and a 9 year old and the kids club absolutely nailed it--Alejandra, Itzel, Alex, Yaneli and Karla made both girls feel welcome each day, had SO many awesome activities for them and were just incredibly sweet with them. Both kids could not wait to go to camp each day and both made great friends while they were there. It made getting some time as a couple easy and stress-free. We also hit up the spa while we were there and had fabulous massages. The cleanliness of this resort is excellent. 10/10 would recommend!

Relaxing and luxurious all inclusive resort
Had a relaxing trip, the resort was beautiful, food was delicious and we were absolutely pampered by the service (thanks, Astrid!). Pool had lots of chairs with shade we could choose from. Kids also enjoyed the Kid's club, they had lots of fun activities throughout the day.

The best concierge
Everything was incredible but the best part of the trip was our concierge Josue. He was a genuine, honest, sincere, helpful GEM of a human. He was on top of every dinner, coordinated all our activities, texted us with updates and reminders throughout the day, and even planned a special private event for our kids! I’ve stayed at velas before and it was great but this experience was elevated by Josue.
