Great Getaway during Covid
We were very pleased with the cleanliness and hospitality at this hotel. Will definitely return again. It is very large, we did get lost a couple times. Staff were all extremely pleasant except for hostess at LaLaguna. It was 7:58 and I asked for a table she said they were closed. We started to La Dalia, then I turned and asked when they opened, she said 8:00. So we stood there for 2 minutes and then she seated us. Only bad experience we had.
Just the trip we needed!!
We spent a week at Grand Palladium Riviera Maya! Even during Covid AND after several hurricanes they did have to minimize what was open, but they worked hard to accommodateour wants. They made sure to make us feel like family! The kids club in particular was awesome and my 4 year old begged to go back each day! Tania and Brenda were awesome with the kids and really made it feel like such a treat for them! Each day was themed and packed with activities like making bracelets, face painting, and crafts! We love this resort and their care for kids put me at ease! THANK YOU PALLADIUM! AND THANK YOU KIDS CLUB!!
We enjoyed our time. The resort was very relaxing so if you’re looking for a party this is not the place to be. Not sure if it was quiet due to Covid but nonetheless there wasn’t much entertainment from the resort. Overall the staff was absolutely friendly. The resort grounds was fairly big so expect to walk everywhere. They have carts to take you around however waiting for a cart can take forever. The food was ok. Not horrible nor something to write home about. Our favorite was the Brazilian restaurant and our least favorite was the El Dorado steak house. The suite we had was nice. Very spacious and clean. We had a large jetted tub in the room which was amazing. We went into town(downtown playa) which was about 30 min away. It was cheaper to catch public transportation outside of the resort. The beach was very rocky so pack water shoes.
Awesome family place to relax
Visited the resort in November 2020 during major Covid outbreak and I was very impressed with how well prepared the resort was. Temperature was taken upon arrival and very time we visited the restaurants to ensure everyone is healthy. I noticed that rooms are being disinfected as well which was defiantly a plus. As for the facility, the age is starting to show, just minor thing here and there, but overall really good place for family vacation. What the facility was lacking was definitely compensated by the staff; everyone was extremely nice and friendly and really made us feel welcome and safe.
Great vacation even during Covid
We have been going to the RM Palladium for 15 years. This year was different and very quiet but still excellent. We only wanted to eat outdoors and the staff was very willing to accommodate us whenever possible. Mask compliance was excellent and we felt very safe and able to distance from others. The food was as great as always. The entertainment was smaller and probably better than the big shows. After several hurricanes the staff was working around the clock to get the resort back in shape. Again, the staff was absolutely the best! We are booked again for May
