Hotel overview

Situated on oceanfront Collins Avenue in the heart of Millionaire's Row, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is one of the most historically and architecturally significant hotels on Miami Beach, Florida. Its iconic design is a spectacular blend of Miami’s glamorous golden era and stylish modern luxury. A revered Miami Beach landmark for more than half a century, Morris Lapidus’ emblematic curvilinear building sets a new standard for business and pleasure. The 22-acre oceanfront Miami Beach hotel features signature restaurants by award-winning chefs; two chic nightlife venues; a two-story spa, a virtually endless poolscape, miles of pristine beach and state-of-the-art conference and event facilities. Even before it opened in 1954, Fontainebleau had a rich history shaped by the rapid expansion of the Miami area and its popularity with celebrities. That same persona lingers on and we have no intention of changing it.

Beautiful but terrible. Hotels under constant construction, designed to squeeze every dollar out. Ocean beach is scam

Constant construction. The elevators are all broken and you wait 30 plus minutes for them. Everything is too expensive and terrible quality. Such gross food for an unbelievable price. Drinks are meh and expensive. Pools are pretty but dirty. Ocean beach is ruined because they put the expensive daybeds in front of the water so people buy them , and the shade cover of these completely block the water view for the rows of chairs behind them. Umbrellas come with an extra charge for hotel guests, which is pretty annoying. Staff are nice.

    Terrible Management and Zero Accountability

Let me start by saying that on February 15th, I referred my family to stay at this hotel from New York — a total of 9 people in two different penthouses. During my visit, I parked my car for about 4.5 hours, but when I went to retrieve it, the elevators were down for hours, making it a nightmare to get to my vehicle. By the time I finally got my car, it was a little over 5 hours, and valet charged me $79. A valet staff member admitted the elevator issue caused the delay and told me to contact management, assuring me my credit card charge would be adjusted to $50. Fast forward to today — April 21, 2025 — and after speaking to 8 different people and leaving 10 messages with management, not a single person has called me back. It’s not just about the $27 difference (though for many people, that’s an hour or more of work), it’s about principle, basic customer service, and respect. To top it off, I even tipped $8 for the parking. As someone in the hospitality industry myself, I would be embarrassed if any guest ever experienced this level of neglect and poor communication. Miami (specifically Fountainbleau) has sadly become a place where hospitality standards have tanked, English is barely spoken in customer-facing roles, and management couldn’t care less about guest experiences. I’m completely over this hotel and will never recommend or stay here again. Do better.

    can't recomment this Hotel

we stayed at Treasure tower. we went there with 4 children. hotel overbooked for Easter and packed at sea and pools. no beach towels once you arrived in the afternoon. pool service drama, lousy food poverprized and slow. 3 Pina colada 78 USD!! large beach chair 500 USD. world record. the lifts drama (well known issues) people wait so long that they squeeze into the lift and then lift gets stick on Tuesday I had to claim room service, as they did not clean until 6 pm. Breakfast cueing 25-30 minutes. just drama from a to Z

    Enjoyable trip!

We stayed at this hotel during a particularly busy time, and while it had its ups and downs, overall it was a good experience. The food was absolutely excellent — every meal we had was delicious and well-prepared — though I will say was expensive. The beach service was excellent; the staff were attentive, friendly, and really made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I'd like to especially thank Kevin Mederos for his exceptional beach service! One downside was that the elevators were down during our stay, which caused some inconvenience, especially with the crowds. It definitely impacted the flow of getting around the hotel. Hopefully, that’s a temporary issue. All in all, great location, amazing beach service, and top-tier dining — just be prepared to spend a little more and maybe take the stairs!

    Great beach experience

I had an excellent stay at the blue this pass weekend. But what stood out to was the great service I received on the beach from Malik. He went up & beyond to provide me with spectacular food & drinks. The vibe on the beach is second to none. Highly recommend visiting the blue!!!!!!
