They had the pool, workout room and room service closed due to covid (even though other chains have reopened them -late July 2020). We were told this upon check-in. We booked a room for 4 and there were only 2 bath towels. When we called down to have some sent up we were told they don’t do that, we’d have to come down and get them. I booked through Booking.com and paid in full in advance. Upon check in the girl at the front desk at first was confused and said I needed to pay. Then I showed her my booking.com confirmation saying I paid in advance and she said she saw that now. Needless to say they charged me 207.00..I’m assuming that’s for a full night’s stay even though I didn’t get a receipt. I figured the charge would drop off my card but it is now posted so I have to make a call to them to straighten it out. Who the heck has time for that?! I’ll never ever stay in this chain again. I hate sounding like a “Karen” but this was awful!!
I stayed At the hotel on july 9th - 10th. The workers were really nice and helpful while checking in. Even the worker over night Lucian (not sure If i spelled it right) he was so sweet and nice. Great customer service. The room was really clean and germ free also. However we did not get the same energy when we were checking out. I called the front desk to get some help with my luggage like i The help i had while checking in and the woman at the front desk ordered me to just come get a cart myself.
Great....Until my card was charged
I stayed at this hotel for a weekend. It was a great experience. Friendly staff, nice accommodations, reasonable price. The only problem..... I stayed for 3 nights (I flew), but my friend stayed for only 2 (She drove). My credit card was charged for 3 nights of parking, even though the car was only there for 2 nights. I called immediately after noticing the charge. I was told they had to check with parking and they would call me back. I waited a week. No call back. So I called back and left a message. I waited a week. No call back. So I called for a third time and was told that she would check with accounting and call me back. I waited a week. No call back. I don’t know what else to do. I know it’s only $50, but I’m a teacher. $50 is $50. Any recommendations on what I should do next?
Very nice hotel! Centrally located and accessible to trolleys, busses, Bourbon street, and French quarters. I would definitely stay there again. Shay at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean.
Great location. Easy access to French Quarter. Amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance. Room was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Michael at desk!!! We will be back.
