Apr 23, 2025Booking again. Basic, clean, walking Distance to Toy Story parking, and free breakfast. Wear socks in the room though.
No frills and straight to the point. It was essentially a top tier Motel 6 with a free breakfast bonus, quality linens, and soap dispensers. It is also walking distance from Toy story parking. We paid 22 to park at the hotel instead of 35 to park in the toy story parking lot. Basic room and amenities and very clean. No maintenance or noise complaints. The bed and pillows were surprisingly soft (too soft for my husband but just right for me). My room even had a fridge and Microwave. The Portofino up the road only had a fridge and I had to share a microwave with the whole floor in the ice machine room and yet it costs far more. I booked the Cortana a month in advance and got in for 78 a night for 2 nights. The breakfast wasn't continental either. They had cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast buffet style starting at 630. Also the hot water got HOT and STAYED hot. The other 100 plus dollar hotels in the area may get sort of hot but they don't stay hot long. Like they're timing your shower. My ONLY complaint is the carpet. It felt gross. We had to wear socks after showering because it fel like people had spilled and it wasn't properly cleaned so our feet were dirty by the time we hit the shower and it felt almost sticky. Like house keeping just vacuums and leaves without assessing spill or doing a shampoo from time to time.mother than that, I'd stay again. Side note, a security walks the grounds all night so it feels a bit safer.

Overall the hotel is nice, walking distance from Disneyland. You can leave your car there until midnight even after you check out. Parking can be hard to find sometimes. Traveled with family with small children, the kids loved the bunk beds and the separate room for them. Would recommend hotel that is a decent price that is close to Disneyland.

Nice Option
It was nice clean, spacious, well stocked room. It was a little far away from the park for us to walk there. But it was right next to the “ART” bus stop which is what we took to the park each day. Nothing super special about the hotel room was what you would expect from a hotel.

Pleasant stay at Cortona Inn & Suites
Room was clean. Room had a small fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast buffet was offered. When a couple of items ran out, the breakfast room attendant was quick to refill them. She was also very nice and helpful. An iron, hair dryer and bathroom toiletries were given. Overall a very pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again.

I did NOT go in April; I simply had to fill that box to make this review. I withdrew my reservation. I called later to confirm that the reservation was canceled. I was charged for the stay anyway. I tried several times to have the charge reversed. They did not comply, and I am out over $200. I will obviously never return.
