Imagine waking up to the gentle murmur of Caribbean Sea just beyond your balcony at Catalonia Playa Mujeres, the morning light pours through floor to ceiling windows, illuminating the soft soft sand dunes that glide down to a Strech of powder whit beach You slip into sandals and wander past manicured gardens bursting with Bougainville and hibiscus, where the scent of frangipani minges wit sea salt on the breeze By the edge of one the resorts infinity pools, you claim a plash lounger beneath a thatched palapa. A friendly attendant soon arrives with aa frosty pina colada garnished with a spring of mind. You lean back and Wach as graceful pelicans glide over the Turquoise water. The pools tiled mosaics shimmer beneath your toes, and in the distance, laughter drifts from the swim up bar.

Catalonia playa maroma is just what the doctor ordered. It was a beautiful resort, a stunning beach, and amazing people. Karla was the biggest sweetheart and was always so attentive and friendly, either when serving us drinks on the beach or in the lobby. Victor also gave us some great advice and was so kind and professional. I wish I remembered the names of everyone else, from checking in, to room service, just everyone was amazing all around. There could be a few things added that could put it over the edge for a few extra stars, but overall, so nice and serene. Overall, highly recommend. For those beach people.. no rocks, smooth sands and warm water. What else could you look for!?! Merci, gracias!

Amazing trip for our family!
We just got back from Catalonia. We had an amazing trip!. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We loved the restaurants there and the buffet always had a lot of selection. It is a different vibe from a bigger resort which myself and my family enjoyed. My teenage sons were able to do a scuba diving trip with a diving team that offers some free demonstrations on site. I would definitely go back there again.

Playa Maroma March 2025
It is a wonderful resort with good food and good staff. The beach is second to none and they were able to clear away the sargassam quite well daily. I will be returning in November with 6 adults and 4 children to have a family reunion. Looking forward to it.

great stay!!!
Its our second visit . we stay there in jan 2024, beautiful location, beautiful beach you can walk as long as your eyes can see, service is great but food choices and qality went down a little from last time we were there, there is barely any seafood choices at this time , only kind of fish they have tilapia, but you can alway fins somthing to eat some days are better thsn the other. We upgrated to privilidge i dont recomend you really dont get any benefits from it, just breakfast and lunch at beloved restaurant so dont spend exra $ not woth it, my side of the bed was so worn out i literaly had to go in a middle to sleep my husband side was more less ok defenatly need a new matress! Will i go there again , only if the price is right .
