Wonderful time full of fun and laughter. Wish I was still there!!
The staff at your resort definitely made my vacation enjoyable. I would like to give a shout out to Samantha especially. She was fantastic at her job by helping us with everything while we were there for two weeks. She speaks english well and her vibrant personality made our stay wonderful. The entertainment staff Francis, Ismael and Extania made us laugh everyday as well. Also, Suheidy at the lobby desk was also very nice.

Bahia Grand Turquesa
You get what you pay for with Bahia Turquesa. It is the cheapest of all the Bahia Principe sections but cheap should not mean poor service and mosquito infested rooms. My family of 4 stayed in room 41110. We sat on the patio for a short time when we arrived and were swarmed with mosquitoes. I am assuming these mosquitoes followed us into the our room and the bathroom because for 4 nights we spent our time trying to kill these things. Every night I called the front desk for a fumigation or a change of room it was pushed to the next day until we gave up. The walls of the room and bathroom have black insect stains. Also , this hotel is for Spanish speaking visitors. I found the taxi contracted company Coming 2 that is at the desk to not be very friendly. They were so dismissive once they found out I did not have a reservation with them back to the airport. The only positive for this stay is that the food was ok compared to any other all inclusive.

Bahia Principe Grand Turquesa Resort Punta Cana March 2025
Resort was very clean, food ok and the weather was perfect. This resort was very large, maybe too large. The beach was too far from our rooms and you have to take a shuttle unless you would like to walk a 1/2 mile each way. English was not spoke too often, it was very hard to navigate through the resort with no hard copy map , just your cell phone. Three out of six got sick with the diarrhea that was uncomfortable. The mosquitoes were bad at night and most of us have at least 75 bites. They seem to surface when we got home and they are TERRIBLE, I have had three sleepless nights because of them itching and burning. I am not certain when they will go away, I have tried Calamine Lotion, Tea Tree Oil, and Benadryl Cream nothing seems to stop the itching.

Not for us....
Grand bahia principe turquesa....this is my 4th time in DR and this is one of the worst resort yet...resort is way too far from the beach. Our first night was alright...our room was on the second floor close to the pool which was nice....but rooms are very dated, took a shower and bathtub filled up and didn't want to drain...we lost power in our room and had to be moved to another room on 3rd floor, no elevator and room was on the other side of the building, same issue with the bathtub. They didn't leave face cloths even when i asked the maid. Bed was very hard. Food is just ok, repetitive. Walk to beach would be at least 20-25 minutes walk in the heat...but they have a trolly that brings you there and you dont wait long. Mosquitoes at night after supper. No issues with chairs on the beach but no shade, no issue with chairs at the pool. Loud music all day at the pool so no relaxation time at all. Unfortunately we will not return to this resort just because of the inconvenience of being too far from the beach and the rooms are too dated.
