Review Your Bill Carefully as they will Automatically Add Misc Charges to
Pretty resort on a Golf course with Hiking trails but Review your bill closely! They automatically will put $10 on your bill for BELL DESK, but the scam is they won't let you take your luggage with you to check in at Front Desk because they say they have to take you to your rooms anyway. So we Tip the person in the Golf cart that drops you off by your building - Give him a $10 bill. We always leave $2-$3 dollars on our bed for housekeeping as well. So we paid those Then when we get our bill E Mail'd to us they automatically put $10 more For Bell Desk and $3 / Day for housekeeping and we only had our Room Cleaned 1 Day! Also when checking in at 1:30pm our Room was Ready however we could NOT get the room without paying $50 since we are checking in before the 4pm Check in. So anything positive about this resort was diminished by their Greed. I would Not recommend this resort to anyone

Beautiful hotel, dated room
We went on spring break with the main focus being the pool for the kids, which did not disappoint. The service throughout the hotel was fantastic and the food in the lobby restaurant was great. While the hotel grounds were beautiful, the room we stayed in (deluxe suite two queens near waterpark) was very dated and in need of repair. It was evident that the suite had simply been painted several times to give the appearance of being updated. The gym was absolutely amazing and about ten times larger than any hotel gym I have ever seen. There was an indoor basketball court that my son loved to play in. There are also incredibly hiking trails that begin right at the hotel grounds.

It’s The Little Things
When we travel, it’s the little things that matter and make a lasting impression. The Arizona Grand Resort and Spa is beautiful, fun for kids and adults…hiking, a water park, golf, and just hanging out with the South Mountains as your back-drop. But what really stands out are the little things that stand out: very friendly management and staff, a seamless check-in process, beautiful flowers, fresh and crisp looking facilities and common areas, and attention to detail. We had a wonderful stay and will be back with the entire Family

Very nice!
Decent beds. Room was very clean. Everything was within walking distance. Upcharges are big, so plan ahead. Nice to have good coffee within reach, Starbucks. Great atmosphere around lobby and golf course. If you want quiet, ours was great. We were in Sedona suites. All other pools we saw were quite busy. Maybe it’s location? Never found out cost to reserve a good spot at water park, but we found a table just fine. Slides were pretty cool. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Oh, we had two teenaged kids with us and they thought this place was great.

Spring break - awesome resort! BEWARE ADDITIONAL FEES!
Amazing resort….traveled with my family (husband and 2 boys 8 and 12). Great location. Waterpark is amazing. Many options (lazy river, wave pool, waterslides). Small enough that our boys could go off alone while we relaxed and were able to keep an eye on them. BEWARE - however - you will be charged an $80 “resort fee per night” at checkout. Also food and drinks - very expensive. Highly recommend - but be prepared for HIGH additional costs.
