    Rocky start soured our stay

We don't gamble but the Wynn was our treat during 3 weeks of national parks, and I had high expectations. I had booked the VIP Tower, which seemed a great value with separate check-in and pool. But the communication was surprisingly poor. What they didn't tell us is that there is a completely separate entrance to the VIP tower. So we were in a long line at the main entrance for a long time until we were finally told to go elsewhere. Our VIP check-in clerk was barely cordial (no water offered) and gave us a handicapped accessible room without telling us. We would have declined it for a regular room with a regular shower and room facilities. Our room was on the fourth floor overlooking the pool area: disappointingly, it did not have a fridge or coffee maker. We had some packages delivered to help the rest of our trip, and the packaging people said, no problem, the rate is $XX per package for handling! Fortunately, when I objected, they said they would waive the fees. We had also been trying to set up massages at their spa, and had a curt unhelpful person. The plus side: I called the concierge service and they lined us up with a very helpful spa person. The spa is, as expected, was lovely; the hostess very welcoming. Our massages were fabulous though very pricey for 50 minutes. Huge kudos also to the bellhops and parking attendants, who miraculously got our car and bags from the "regular" entrance over to the VIP tower readily. (We discovered valet parking was included in the VIP rate.) The highlight of our stay was the Wynn Buffet for breakfast. We had dined at Lakeside the night before, and the lobster risotto was very good. But the Buffet, which had recently reopened, was scrumptious! (This may partly be due to the fact it had been nearly 2 years since we had any kind of a buffet...) At first we were stuck (again) as reservations now were required (it wasn't when I had last checked online). But as VIP guests, we were ushered in to a remarkable spread of breakfast items, meats, entrees, sushi, fruit, gelato, desserts and delicious "har gow," our favorite dim sum. A wide variety of drinks were included as well. Best of all: $50 credit for breakfast was included in our reservation. Later, I got a nice email after I filled out the Wynn survey, offering a complimentary upgrade in the future. What I reiterated is that they need to improve their communication at every level, especially for new guests.

After a reservation issue with the Palazzo, had to find another hotel in a hurry. Due to super convenient and walkable distance from the Palazzo chose Wynn Las Vegas. So impressed! Absolutely loved the stay here. Beautiful room, classy and meticulously clean lobby and public area, and fantastic food options. Have stayed in at least a dozen other Vegas hotels/rooms and Wynn is by far the best! My new Vegas go-to.

They'll text me when my room is ready

I arrived in the late morning and check in isn't till 3, so they took my money and said they'd text me when my room was ready. Except they didn't! So finally 3:PM arrives and I wait 40 minutes AGAIN, in another line as I watch hundreds of people walk away with room keys even though I registered for my room while they were still en route. For what I paid for a room, maybe the company needs to CARE just a little about texting the customer who PAID hours ago. I'll never stay at a Wynn property again, and I plan to tell everyone I know how I waited for hours and hours for my room. Please don't bother to give me anything in reconsideratiin. You missed the opportunity to simply expedite the room I PAID FOR.

Beautiful Hotel; noisy room at night

Bucket trip to the Wynn for four nights. Beautiful room; was upgraded to panoramic view room on the 55th floor overlooking the Wynn golf course. Extremely comfortable beds. Staff very nice and helpful. Went to weekend brunch twice and was generally good but not really special. Shrimp on ice but no crab legs or oysters. Deserts, however were “The Bomb.” Fresh squeezed orange juice as much as you want. Overall weekend brunch seemed overpriced at $50 but still very popular. The pools are generally very good, warm enough with very good bar service. Overly crowded at topless European adults pool. Only one small jacuzzi available unless you upgrade to “Tower Suites” On Friday from about 10PM until 4 AM loud music apparently from night parties held at Encore Hotel Beach Club. Saturday night same noise but lasting 2-3 hours in the middle of the night. Monday AM loud music started suddenly at 3 AM and lasted 2 hours. I believe all the rooms at Wynn were affected by this music and when staff was asked about it they said they have heard many complaints about the music from multiple guests. Ear plugs seem necessary for sleep at the Wynn on weekends. Thursday night had been quiet. Overall I would not return to Wynn due to the lack of sleep on weekends. If the noise is not an issue I definitely would return due to the ambience, the beauty of the surroundings and the wonderful service.

    Wynn Hotel

Very nice hotel. I got the great city view room . The hotel mattress and pillows were very comfortable, it’s definitely one of the top 3 hotels on my list. Walking distance to the shopping center and indoor malls. Very good service from the hotel’s Valet.
