Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - This hotel cannot guarantee a spring-break-free environment. Student Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.

We were not exactly sure what to expect as this was our first foray into the all-inclusive vacation scene, but we could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Every single resort employee we interacted with was incredible. Would like to give a special shout out to Brian for the poolside service - whatever Hyatt is paying him is most certainly not enough. Spring for the preferred rooms if possible. The rooftop pool and breakfast options are more than worth it. Just be aware of the policy regarding minors/children on the rooftop. Definitely recommend getting a poolside cabana and ordering a steady stream of tacos. Just remember, if you take care of the staff, they will more than take care of you ;) Can’t wait to return.

Great Family resort! There was plenty of seating around the pool. The kids pool area was really cute and seems like the smaller kids enjoyed it. All of the rooms you are able to see the ocean. The food was average. The drinks were a bit watered down but that was ok with me because I mainly ordered frozen drinks. The room was nice and clean and housekeeping cleaned it daily. The Tacos were so good at Vista Tacos. The Habachi was also a good food option. The meatballs and the pizza at Portofino were also really good. Coco Cafe had some pretty good pastries and frappes. I was able to book a tour with Amstar as well on a Catamaran to Isla. It rained two days we were there but the rain never lasted too long.

The beach is far worse than expected. Restaurant foods are similar to the Cafe food Coco Cafe and the lobby bar were the best spots for snakes and drinks.

Top Notch Service - Amazing Ocean Views
I haven’t been on here to write a review in a while but felt compelled to share my opinion of one heck of a vacation. We booked this sort of last minute - only 3 weeks before departure and not reading a ton of reviews. We have stayed at many Dreams/ Hyatt/ Secrets properties so are familiar with the brand and their typical amenities and services. To start off - the service was really really good. When I say good, I mean the staff was very genuine throughout every aspect of the resort. From the check in, to restaurants, to pool team, to bartenders- everyone was warm and friendly and continued to make sure that we had anything we could want. This hotel operates the pool deck with a pool concierge team (standard with the Dreams brand) and this did not disappoint. Special shout out to Victor who made sure we had chairs and towels every morning and who continued to follow up all day to make sure we had anything at all we could need. Special thanks also to Benjamin, Alvin, and Jessica who also were so friendly and helpful. Second part of the pool team are the poolside servers. When I tell you this team HUSTLES throughout the day - I have never witnessed speed of service like this. This hotel does not actually have a swim up bar and you would never even notice. Special thanks to Kendor for remembering our names, drink orders, and non stop moving from 10am onwards. Shout out also to Carlos and Andrea and the rest of the pool service team who were on top of all guests needs all day. We had booked the preferred club and it was well worth the money. The rooftop restaurants- Blue Water Grill and Vista Prime were awesome. The food was SO fresh and beautifully presented at every meal- probably the best food we have had at any all inclusive resort. Special thanks to Richard at the Blue Water Grill for morning breakfast, and Ricardo in the Vista Prime restaurant bar for hand making me this incredible lemoncello drink from scratch (that should be on a menu because it was amazing). The rooms were very modern, clean, spacious, with stunning ocean views from every room. Best of all was the ice cold air conditioning and ceiling fan - a really nice touch. Housekeeping and turn down service were prompt and reliable each day. The hotel is positioned in such a way that you get the ocean breeze everyday and that also makes for a really comfortable experience as well. Thank you to all of the wonderful genuine staff for making this such a relaxing vacation. We will be so happy to come back one day and visit again.
