Pretty poor advertised as a beach holiday and couldn't even get on the beach as the smell of rotten seaweed would make you sick

Lovely resort. Buffet restaurant was good with plenty of choice. Loved the shows that they had, especially Origen show which was amazing and well worth it. Lots of seaweed and questionable about how good they are at clearing it(saw one lady putting it back and another fishing it out from the same pile). Also recent fire at the neighbourhood resort we were not made aware of and this made booking the specialty restaurants impossible and couldn’t get in them apart from one(Brazilian) which was very good. Rooms very clean and great location (block 2). Lots of wildlife around the resort too which we loved.

Jul 06, 2025Overall hotel experience is good, terrible and unsafe transfer, hard to book the additional restaurants
Overall we had a good experience, people are nice, buffet has a lot of variety, drinks at the lobby bar are great. However, we had a terrible time trying to book a table at one of the additional restaurants that the hotel offer (which we didn’t know until our first day) and most importantly, the transfer that was arranged by the hotel to the airport on the way back was driving in an extremely dangerous way, even seeing that we had a baby with us. He was completely agitated, moving lanes and over speeding for the entire way. He made Tulum to Cancun in less than an hour, which is crazy. Be careful when booking the hotel transfer

Lovely holiday shame about the food
The accommodation was very modern, clean and airy. The interior decoration was fresh and modern. Unfortunately, tv had very few English speaking channels and consisted of advertising most of the time. We had to remind the cleaner to replace towels, flannels and body wash on more than one occasion. However, any direct requests made via reception were dealt with in an expeditious and courteous manner. The food was not properly labelled. The Mexican corner was repetitious and unappealing. The meat, be if lamb, chicken or beef was always over cooked and very tough. The a la cartes were not particularly exciting. We went with friends and we had a lovely time.

For me this place was amazing. The room was exactly what we needed, having a mini bar that's stocked everyday along with a room clean and fresh towels if needed. The staff can't do enough for you, throughout the entire hotel. The pool area is always well kept, always plenty of sunbeds to choose from. Food available quite literally 24/7 with a huge selection in the buffet restaurant. Entertainment for all ages. Beach quite literally on your door step. The only down fall was the shear amount of seaweed on the beach, the stuff also gives off a nasty smell. There was efforts to remove it but the quantity that was washing up was like fighting a losing battle. We experienced 3 of the A la carte meals and all where fabulous. I honestly don't have a bad word to say. I was so sad we had to leave could quite easily stayed another 2 weeks! Would highly recommend to anyone.
